3:28 the music machine behind them is a CMI FAIRLIGHT Synthesizer, an extreme piece of engineering, quite expensive for the age, made and developed in Australia.
Yup! Im absolutely fascinated with it. Its why i included the photo! Check out some of my other videos, i have some content made with a Fairlight Emulator called QasarBeach!
The day i get tired of listening to this will be the day i die. One of only a handful of songs ive liked from the very first time i heard it. In my opinion its the best of the best that tff has made together with pale shelter.
Intro was great emphasizing the bass line. The transition was really lacking when moving onto the original recording. Needs work there... A LOT. Just felt really felt badly chopped, up from about 1:10 through about 5:43 is clearly the the original song with next to no transition. You have some good mixing ideas but your transitions need a LOT of work!!! 7:16 was MUCH better! Keep on keeping on, just make those transitions work better. Ending was not bad though!
The bells are a different recording at the beginning, where it transitions into the main song idk what i did there but i thought it was good. Right about 3:00 or 3:10 is the transition back to the start with a bit of fade in. Everything onward after that is one recording. Right where it transitions into the guitar solo the bitrate drops from 1400kbps to 94kbps due to me only having one recording of the Extended Master Recording with that cool ending. I use a free software and only really just started so thats why its kinda bad, i apologize.
@@Elena14204 I think that your mix is fine. Been doing home made mixes for literally decades and when I listened to this I thought that everything flowed nicely.

@@Elena14204 Even in "ALIENS"(1986) some sound effects were made by using one of those machines.

You can use any of it! I don't have the rights to the music.

@@TheRegularjoe1365 thank you
@@Elena14204 I look forward to hearing more of your efforts.
@@TheRegularjoe1365 what i find odd is some of the parts this person is criticizing were literally mixed and produced by mercury records in '85.
