Great reaction to this masterpiece by Faouzia. We forget that Faouzia is an accomplished pianist, this is probably her interpretation of what Beethoven mindset was when he composed this. Yes, it’s dark, melancholic, but art nonetheless. Faouzia, gets inspiration from observing others, she has a knack for putting herself in character, and writing lyrics as if she’s read your diary.
I am by no means an expert, but it is like she replayed all the instruments sounds with her voice....I have watched this over 50x and picked up so many nuances
She definitely did mimic the piano a couple of times. I’d have to listen more to capture the other things you’re talking about, her making other instruments. Not that she sounds like them, but she’s mimicking the notes and that’s cool.
As far as the initial imagery. Socks, heels, safety pins, fur elise...seems to me its all a symbolic metaphor for trying to hold together the chaos that is herself, staying in this potentially abusive relationship. It's all art. Down to the choreography of her movement expressing her writing, and the shots of the video direction.
This is the Faouzia I like to listen to it had emotion deepness and even pain she does it like no one does and her runs are off the charts up and down all in one run I liked this very much and I like your reaction and your breakdown of it as you only you can. As always your ride or die forever Eyyyyy Ooooo
Best vocal reaction to this song! Love that you went into the actual psychology of this song. Faouzia did great with this song to include it into her repertoire of heartbreaking 💔 songs. She finished her engineering degree and is now studying Psychology of which she has put to good use in this song, singing about an unhealthy narcissistic relationship that so many fall into... from Canada here 🇨🇦🩷 🇨🇦 ❤
every single reaction I've watched, people were left speechless at the end...and the thing is there’s nothing to add, it’s a masterpiece and the silence is the only way to respect her voice and her immense talent capable of bringing up all the emotions you had deep down inside you.
I love listening to the vocal melisma’s and vocal scale runs. She has created a new STUNNING sound to an old “CLASSIC MASTERPIECE”. I love FAOUZIA’s beautiful creation. I must say…whenever I want to get daily chores done this song is on REPEAT 🔁 to motivate me…I’m older so a lot of times I need it. Thank you Amazing Rosalie for taking the time to react to FAOUZIA’S new song. 🙆🏻♀️🎼🤍🙌🏽
A vocal masterpiece on a Beethoven claasic masterpiece ! Faouzia delivered a visually and artistically masterful performance for the ages ! Just a piano, cello and voice was all that was needed to draw you into her world ! Faouzia is an unbelievably talented singer songwriter that is able to connect on so many levels with her audience ! She is the real deal ! Beauty, brains and talent are three truths we know as FAOUZIA ! Thank you so much for continuing your wonderful journey with this wonderful beautiful artist from Canada. This was an absolute gem and your RUclips channel is always must watch! Please keep posting my friend. Sending much thanks and love from Canada always 👍🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️❤️❤️
Amazing Song ... Outstanding reaction ..very scientific ... loved it :) ---> What caught my attention with this marvelous singer is ... her consistency in challenging the instruments accompanying her! It is as if she is in competition with the aquatics of the instruments rather than humans! OMG ... her vocals are flawlessly precise as if she NOT trying !! --- THANK YOU Rosalie 😍🥰
Never heard you talk so much about the psychological, but this song makes your heart skip a beat and I totally agree with you. Very few songs make you feel that way. Pure love of Faouzia to come out with this song now. And with the feeling she gives out in the song is incomparable. Almost all of Faouzia's songs are about emotions, and she does it simply too well. You feel love for her songs and her manner. But thank you for your reaction and the speech from you on this text in the song. You are truly the best of all when it comes to both emotions and radiance.
I'm obsessed with the original version of this song and this live performance lets her vocals SHINE🤌🏻⭐ Faouzia is currently studying psychology, if I'm right. I feel like it's improving her songwriting to even higher level tho I've always loved her lyrics. ⭒˚。⋆
She's incredible! She's studying engineering though - I think it's just maturity and life experience that's improving her writing further. Although as you say, she's always been great!
As an experiencer, a tremendous amount of guilt is also a result of the situation. Just discovered this yesterday, and I've listened to it a dozen times and still find myself gasping for air towards the end. Love your analysis.
I love your reaction to this particular song and as you describe,,, she is absolutely wonderful with her voice and radiance. I like your expression in your beautiful eyes and you can see your surprise at this song........ Kisses from Sweden...... Delle
watching your face while you hear/see her performance for the first time was like reliving hearing the song for the first time myself. Faouzia is so surreal. GREAT reaction (and I‘m only 9 minutes in the video 😂) !!!
This was a superb reaction thought-provoking I had to subscribe. Faouzia s composition, lyrics, delivery is impeccable. Her breath control is insane I would be breathing like I was in labor.
I check you at least 3 times a week,,, your reaction is simply wonderful to Faouzia on this one is so wonderful.... Thank you for being there and like Faouzia... Kisses Delle
This is the best reaction video I’ve seen for the song so far! You’re the first to analyze the song’s story from both social and psychological perspectives, and it’s truly refreshing. The song portrays the pain of being trapped in a toxic relationship, with Faouzia’s lyrics vividly describing emotional manipulation: “I’ll dance like a puppet on your string… I’ll ring like a desperate violin.” Her performance enhances this narrative, with her attire and movements symbolizing a puppet controlled by someone else. While her smile reflects the illusion of happiness, her eyes reveal deep emotional pain, like a broken vase. I love how you connected the visuals and lyrics to the emotions of the song. It’s also amazing how Faouzia reimagines Beethoven’s Für Elise by modernizing its themes of longing, heartbreak, and unresolved emotions. Both works capture the fragility of love and the cycle of pain with haunting beauty. This analysis, combined with Faouzia’s stunning presence and voice, makes the song a 10/10 for me. Proud of you, Faouzia! 🇲🇦❤️"
Great reaction. Im like you, i love all her songs but from a vocal/emotional standpoint THIS is her wheelhouse! Very similar to her earlier songs. Love it!
I love your in-depth analysis of this song ❤Some things you pointed out I didn't even see until now. Faouzia's music is often so dramatic, but in a good way, if that makes sense. I once read that other people's experiences are what inspires many of her songs, but I can't help but wonder if she ever was in a toxic relationship herself (I hope not!). Her fans noticed that "Fur Elise" could be a prequel to "Puppet", because of the line: "I'll dance like a puppet on your string". In "Puppet" the narrator is free from the toxicity and ready to move on.
What a beautiful song, I love how she incorporates little pieces of classical music into the song. Faouzia is definitely one of my artists right now. However, Fur Elise means For Elise, it doesn’t make sense to say” my name is for Elise. Of course this doesn’t diminish the beauty of this song.
Since we are getting into interpretations of this song, let’s try this. Assume for a moment that the piano is being personified and is speaking to the writer of any song. The piano is commanded to play the notes written by the writer. The melody in this case is Fur Elise.
I just realized I had this saved forever to watch and I never watched it. This video came out at a bad time because I was in the hospital taking care of my sick mom. Now I’m ready. Here goes!
You're a good reactor because not only do you know some of the technical aspects of what make this good but you can analyze the emotional aspects of it very well too because I think you're a psychiatrist or something, right? You captured so many elements of this that most reactors will not. Thank you for the reaction.
I never ever heard a singer with that talent snd these creative runs ever and I'm obsessed with Witney Huston and Celine Dion, but they don't have this musicallity and creativity although they r legends and i afore them but Faouzia is unique really❤
it's an amazing how our individual mind interprets a song, but nicely done Rosalie. much love💜 her experience of dark side came at very young age singing old Arabic songs that her dad listened to. I think Faouzia is very determined lady that's plan to go as high as she can... it's all spelled out in her very first song she sang called "this Mountain". which is the song that put her on the map via Tiktok. it's one of the 2 motivational songs she has... Maybe it is just me, but the few seconds of runs toward the end sound jazzy. I saw Faouzia sing Fly Me To The Moon in a short video which reminded me of Ella Fitzgerald. I don't know if she listens to jazz, but she'd be fantastic at it with her scat singing. I've been listening to some artists from Arab nations, such as Aseel Hameem, Elissa, Nancy Ajaram, Shiran and others. I found Faouzia's music and vocal style differ significantly from theirs. I'm ignorant of music theory but I believe that in addition to the different musical scales used in Arab music, the traditional instruments and cultural milieu influence how people sing. Although Faouzia was born in Morocco, she moved to Canada as a baby. So she most likely grew up listening to a very diverse range of music from all over the world, plus her classical piano lessons from a young age and her talent, blended these elements to create her own unique Faouzia Music. Sorry for my poor English I'm from the Balkans
i already commented on this video. im coming back to ask a question if you have the time to answer. ive looked around your channel to see if you have a discord, and either you dont or im missing it somewhere.(i say this because i could of sworn that you said thats where people ask for specific reaction vids) thanks have a great day!

Please sweet Rosalie,,, listen to Eden Golan ,,, Hurricane,,, and feel free to give your reaction to her voice. Is in the Eurovision 2024 song contest at the beginning of May 2024. A very nice voice and she has Radiance this Eden Golan.......
Sound healing is known for centuries in the middle east or worse way of using influence/control is not something new and studies are not new either just the past few years become more popular because people realised it is science finally 😅
#GabrielHenrique Number like 138❤❤ I leave as a suggestion for your reaction, the talented Gabriel Henrique covering Whitney Houston with the song i have notting in his voice with a unique style
I'm sorry, but if like me what you care about primarily is musicality, forget Dimash, Morrissette, So Hyang, etc., to me live she is clearly the best singer on the planet right now, period.
This recording is marred by the obvious pitch correction. I couldn’t get through the whole thing. It’s sad when the perfect is the enemy of the good. She obviously is a talented singer, too bad the producers destroyed her art, in my opinion.
This comment was art itself, explained my thoughts beautifully 😩✋
I am by no means an expert, but it is like she replayed all the instruments sounds with her voice....I have watched this over 50x and picked up so many nuances
yup tha's how classical Berber and Arabic traditional music usually mimicking, they mimic the sound of the rababah or string instrument.
She definitely did mimic the piano a couple of times. I’d have to listen more to capture the other things you’re talking about, her making other instruments. Not that she sounds like them, but she’s mimicking the notes and that’s cool.
I got the piano 'play me like a melody' part. So good

A trifecta of masterpieces: Beethoven’s work, Faouzia’s out of this world reinvention of it, and your priceless reaction. Bravo!
I love Faouzia ❤❤❤ kisses from Italy 😘😘😘

An absolute masterpiece.
Enjoyed your reaction Rosalie , u have a unique style/way to do your reactions , you really care about the songs and enjoy/experience them.
Thank you so much!!
What a beautiful song, I love how she incorporates little pieces of classical music into the song. Faouzia is definitely one of my artists right now. However, Fur Elise means For Elise, it doesn’t make sense to say” my name is for Elise. Of course this doesn’t diminish the beauty of this song.
she means to play her like her name is the song “fur elise”
“play me like my name is ‘fur elise’”
@Rosalie muchas gracias por reaccionar y analizar esta obra maestra disfrute mucho tu análisis. Que tengas feliz semana 😊
Very complète, deep and professionnel reaction as usual 😊. Miss it. I Guess Sie sprechen auch deutsch. Faouzia always Queen ! Stay safe

her experience of dark side came at very young age singing old Arabic songs that her dad listened to.
I don't think she was in any narcissist relationship. she was (and is) very protective by her mom & her older sister.
give Faouzia one word, & she'll make a story out of it...she's very creative & loves story telling.
u don't believe me? she learned about Exothermic in her Engineering class & made a song out of it, titled Exothermic!
she gets most of the hurtful relationship stories from her girlfriends, school friends, movies, soap operas...she is very observant.
she has few friends who are lyricist co-writers to her songs.

Faouzia is our beautiful Canadian Pride.
I interpreted her clothing as representing her as a marionette, which is mentioned in the lyrics.

Fur Elise is now in the public domain and subject to no copyright issues. The author's life + 70 years means it goes into the public domain.

Oh yeah lay that German pronunciation on us! 😍😍😂😂
I'm sorry, but if like me what you care about primarily is musicality, forget Dimash, Morrissette, So Hyang, etc., to me live she is clearly the best singer on the planet right now, period.

fouzia is not real, she's AI made.
This recording is marred by the obvious pitch correction. I couldn’t get through the whole thing. It’s sad when the perfect is the enemy of the good. She obviously is a talented singer, too bad the producers destroyed her art, in my opinion.
I' m done! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
She lost her two sister and then her female personal photographer, maybe rhis is has some clue!?
