Here is my cover of "James The Really Splendid Engine." I really like big band music from the 40s, like Will Bradley, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, etc.. So I figured it would be fitting to channel that style into my cover of this song. I even included some footage of the Cubase session for this video. Enjoy guys!

Honestly, the only positive of this pandemic is that it helped me save myself from failing 6th grade. I was on the brink of failing a few classes which could have held me back, but, I'm sure we ALL know this, we left school for the last time of the school year on the dreaded Friday the 13th, and never came back, so I guess that's how I managed to move on to 7th. I learned my lesson, without getting any actual consequences, since the fear of being held back got to me, and 7th and 8th I'm doing great in. 7th was obviously easier since the online class thing was happening, and all my 8 classes rarely got homework because of it, even the ones who were face-to-face.

If James had gotten his own special or something this would HAVE to play in it. It’s absolutely perfect! The special should be called “Red and Splendid” and it should be about James and maybe diving into more of his insecure side. And perhaps maybe not having him be reduced to status quo? He’s a great character just not one that was allowed to grow as much unfortunately
This should have been the song played at the beginning of Journey Beyond Sodor. It's a CRIME it wasn't in it, especially since it was still the Brenner Era.
Imo James and Henry deserved to be the main characters in jbs James was amazing in the movie as is but him being lead would be top tier as for Henry well he is the original experimental engine.
Ngl thomas takes center with too many specials like I think his roles in great discovery and lost treasure are perfect but take the great race as an example that definitely should've been more about gordon

The misheard captions made it said, "What about the time he got covered in blood?", instead of mud. We can't probably tell if he's really covered in blood, because he's already red. XD

So cool! This was always one of/if not my favourite track in TTTE, he really is splendid, as are you Headmaster Hastings.
I can imagine this in the 1920s to 1950s and James is the name of a man dressed in a smart red suit jacket with his jet black hair and has a bit of an ego but has a good heart. Quite a charmer if you ask me.
