    Hi there, here in ireland i could only get the inspiron 7590 (9th gen i7) with 3cell, 56w battery. Should i rather go for the new inspiron 7501( 10th gen i7), (with same specs) but 6 cell, 97w battery?
    or do you think that the inspiron model with 3cell battery would be still better than the 7501 model overall?
    i would only need the laptop for casual usage, movies and some photo editing.

    Hi, at 5:13 you mention a second ssd slot and show an image that clearly has a second slot. When you demonstrate an upgrade in another video that configuration is not the same. All of the videos and images of upgrades do not show the configuration in the image you used for this video, the one image you use comes from the dell site where they speak of the capability "dual ssd array". Is there a specific model of 7590 that allows this?

    • @w2best
      @w2best  5 лет назад

      At 5:13 the video is over? I'm really not sure what you refer to. The SSD setup of the 7590 is exactly the same in as the pictures. 7591 is different but I don't have that one so can't to more in depth looks at it.

    Hi and thankyou for your videos!
    I really need you to help me. I have an inspiron 7950 4k too but I have a really strange problem which have no reason to be...
    Dell says that I can chose for a refound or a new dell 7950 4K warning me that I may encountet the same problem...but this problem has totally no sense on a high end laptop like this...
    This is the problem:
    Using the pc unplugged, only on battery, no matter if I'm watching a low or high quality video that is on the ssd or watching video on youtube at 240p or 1080p or 4K...exactly every 10 seconds, for a split second, the video lags. No matter if the battery power mangment is on eco, balanced or high performance. The system lags every 10 second. Even if I'm semply scrolling down a Internet page or a office document. Even if the cpu is at 6%, intel graphic at 5%, ram around 6GB of 32 total and the gtx 1650 is at 0%.
    If I plug in the power supply "everything" is flawless, smooth like butter...
    There is no way a notebook at this price tag could have this lag problem using battery!!!
    Can you please tell me if you experience the same? Becouse if so I'm going to ask for the refound and buy another brand laptop...even if I love this inspiron...
    "Dell Cares" in 26 mails made me try this and that and again this...untill the moment they ask me to reset Bios Default...the notebook is totaly unusable since that moment...it powers up...Dell logo...blu screen with no text at all and after 30-40 seconds it shuts down it self.
    "you should re install windows then"
    are you kiddin me? Hours and hours of trial and error on a brend new 1700€ laptop and now that "dell cares" made me lose my data and my "working" notebook I should olso reinstall everithing from scratch?
    So frustrating....

    • @LiuteriaMarcellan
      @LiuteriaMarcellan 5 лет назад

    Thank you for your review comparing the Inspiron and Vostro. I am looking for a new laptop, and I came across the Vostros on Dell's website during the last week of October 2020, and there's a Vostro 7500 that I am really considering - It's still on an amazing deal. I know it's more computer than I need, because the specs are great, 10th Gen i7, 16 GB RAM (8GB onboard + 8GBx1 SODIMM), and 512 SSD - and Nvidia GTX 1650, but I'd rather make sure that it's more than enough laptop. I am not a gamer, not a graphic designer, just heavy use of MS Office, email, and web browsing, youtube, etc.
    My concern is that I have read many reviews of the Vostros, even the 7500, that they do have a tendency to get hot/overheat, and that the fan runs constantly. I am not sure if you can offer some insight or feedback about this, if I am using this laptop for more basic functions that I mentioned, if the 7500 would still heat up, and if the fan would run constantly with more moderate usage? My other choice is going with a high end HP Envy, but in order to configure an Envy to the same specs as this Vostro 7500, it would cost me quite a bit more. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    • @w2best
      @w2best  4 года назад

      They are amazing but they do run hot - but I've made a ton of videos about this. You can undervolt and limit the turbo and easily get it to a silent state. My fans are never running except when I export a video or play a game :)

    I just purchased and received the dell vostro 7590. Out of the box weight was 1.903kg. A bit heavier than the weight shown on the website of 1.85kg and certainly heavier than weight listed for the Inspiron, what was the measured out of the box weight of the Inspiron?

    • @w2best
      @w2best  5 лет назад

      Interesting! What spec? I believe it's 1,7kg plus a few grams. That would actually mean it is in a different material than the Inspiron if we otherwise have the same spec which I assume...

      Below is the link to the specs of the laptop I purchased. Main reason for going for this was that it had the 16gb ram already so I didn’t need to modify it (not that tech savvy myself so would have needed to pay someone to do it and was concerned about voiding the warranty)
      The dimensions were almost identical to the Inspiron, but obviously slightly heavier. Hopefully performance is as good as!
