I trimmed them down ever so slightly as I didn’t want the vlog to be too long but I kept the bulk of it in there, all the juicy parts anyway 😉 Thank you ever so much x
Like the commentary and explain actions during the test and the warm up procedure you use found that very interesting and helpful so thanks to you and Master Remmi
As hard as some comments might be, at least they give reasons so you have an idea of what to work on. I'm so disenfranchised with showing because of the complete lack of feedback or judge accountability. Watching you and Remmie compete (regardless of what scores you get) has made me want to try a little bit of dressage down the track. Time to mix things up and have a bit of fun I think! Also, your vlogs are always a joy to watch!
I write for a lot of BD and unaff, the marks seem to be on par from my experience unaff, 4.5 seems to be the typical mark for a break... I got a 4 for one stride wrong leg. Looking very very sweet! and I just looovvveee your jacket !
Just wonderful through and through! Did you know that the guy who coined the phrase 'ride your horse forwards and set him straight!" also called the rib cage item you noted during warmup 'the soul of riding' :) ? p.s. I would've given the right canter strikeoff in the 2nd test an 8 not a 6.
So it was the same judge for both tests - I always prefer it when you have different judges. The marks were A LOT lower than we would usually get but I guess it’s just one persons opinion 🤷🏼♀️ Who knows though x
I do think some of those marks were a little harsh. I don't know if the judging scale is different in the UK, your test levels are, but both seemed like very basic level tests (no laterial work) so I feel they should be "nicer" at lower levels. I think Remmi looked lovely.
M B Equestrian Obviously every judge is different but I was surprised with the marks we received that day. The tests over here start at Preliminary- So we are at the lower levels still by doing a prelim and novice (next level up) 😊
@@RidingRemington Yeah, your levels are so confusing to me. Like, novice sounds like it should be the lowest level. And preliminary sounds like it should be harder (although that is just some association that my subconscious is doing between prelim and intermediare). Our levels are so much easier to follow: L=easy, so LC, LB and LA, next is M=Medium, so MC, MB and MA, the V=hard, so VB. Prix st george is the level between MB and MA, Between MA and VB is Intermediare 1, and between VB and Grad Prix is Intermeiare 2. The upper levels are confusing, but the lower levels are easy to follow. If you'd like, for a video, I could translate a Norwegian dressage test for you, and you could ride it.
Seems the judge was overly harsh! You deserved higher marks than that 🤷🏼♀️ well done for staying positive & enjoying the day regardless of a grumpy judge! X
I thought you was slightly cheated with the judges marks. He has a great rhythm and tempo and carried himself correctly in a lot of his movements, so it gets a thumbs up from me, well done x
Ahhh lovely to see your happy smiling face on a rainy Saturday !! You have amazing super long legs anyway but the hole down made you look like a superstar !! If his looseness in the back is an issue - give some consideration to an equilibrium back massage pad ( unless you have one already ) my two have been different ponies since I've had it !!!!! I would say very very much worth the investment xxxxxxxxxxx well done xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Really appreciated how you displayed the comments and marks for the tests 🤗 so great to follow on!
Ah I’m glad you enjoyed that part - Next time I will do the same again and I’ll try and add a voice over of my thoughts too 😊
Nice video! You did it faboualus with remmi there's is always things to work on with your horse go on! 🥰
Exactly this, we never stop learning 🤍
Love that you put the scores and comments on the screen during your round! Fab idea! ❤️
I always think it’s nice to follow along and to see what the judge thought 🤍 Well, I do anyway... maybe I’m just nosy 😂
So nice that you show the whole test with the scores you got 🌼. Remi looked stunning! That tail 😍🦄!

I would love to do some writing ✍️ It would be fab to see what the judge sees 👀
@@RidingRemington Just email venues... I'm lucky as my parents run competitions but if other venues are like us we're always looking for writers !!
Rem looked fabulous x
Fabulous as always!
Glad you enjoyed 🤍🤍

Still looking good and keep enjoying yourself 😁
Hi I love your vids
Awww thank you, I’m so pleased you are enjoying them 💙
Is it just me or were they overly critical (like they seem to be with most cobs)?

I just tell myself, "just paying the judge for her opinion".
Nobody
Me: *What did we do to loveeeee*
Hope you enjoy
How tall is Remi? You guys looked really good ❤️
Awww, thank you 💙 He is 14.2
Riding Remington aw he’s so cute and elegant ❤️

You win some and you lose some I guess 😂 I thought we were ever so slightly underscored but that’s dressage I guess, it’s subjective ☺️

Quite harsh judging, but you had a fab day so thats the main thing
Really lovely day - It was so lovely to be back out after such a long time 🤍

I have been meaning to purchase an Equilibrium pad... something else always seems to pop up though 🙈😂 One day xx
Ooooh, thank you 🤍
I’m early there’s no comments to read :(
Hope you enjoy 😊
Riding Remington I did thank you!
