Freeway Ricky responded to Vlad's statement that Jay-Z and Diddy - two of the most financially successful Hip Hop artists - are legal drug dealers and that the majority of their fortunes came from alcohol. After the two agreed that alcohol kills more people than any other substance besides cigarettes, Vlad referenced Jay-Z's drug-dealing past which Freeway Ricky downplayed.
The entrepreneur said it's possible, but hard to be a rapper and drug dealer at the same time. Vlad then revisited his story about getting ripped off for a kilo of cocaine and told Freeway Ricky that he's made more money by talking about the experience. Freeway Ricky concludes the clip by saying his involvement with drugs is what's gotten him to where he's at today.

I find that associating two accomplished men in the entertainment business who were able to overcome their situation as still “drug dealers” because they sell alcohol is low-brow. They have overcome their predicaments and have succeeded to such a large extent by attaching them and their business ventures as “drug dealing” is crass. It’s not the same or even remotely similar.
It’s not the same legally but otherwise it is. Alcohol is addictive and dangerous, leads to violence and crimes. And yet the vast majority of people who use it don’t get addicted or do violence or crimes due to it. Same exact thing is true of coke.
