The rock hand prints happened when the sentiment was as soft as clay and happened to remain undisturbed until it hardened into stone to become that finger striped fossil wall.. most indentation fossils are made like this, my science class in middle school even had a project where we made our own fossils by mixing clay with craft concrete, we then pressed sea shells, plastic leaves, our hands and other thinks into a baker sheet full of the mix and afterwards when it was dry we shattered the sheet and each piece looked like a real fossil rock..

The prints were made by people trying to escape the flood, while the sand and mud were still wet, before it turned to stone.
Correct @Kurt Boulter the ground underneath my block of land alternates between earth (dirt) and sandstone, when wet sandstone becomes soft and malleable and could even and returns to rock hard stone once it's dry. No big mystery there.
@@zoneofk No, sandstone does NOT turn soft when wet, otherwise most of the older public buildings, bridges, walls etc. in the world would melt and collapse. Sandstone is stone, and remains stone, once formed from sand, silt, clay and biological material, under immense pressure. It is sad when people make things up to cover a lie.
The went dark real quick
@@KurtBoulter even though you made up the lie? 🤦♂️
@@theilluminati1808 Made up the lie? It is an observational conclusion, based on written, eyewitness testimony, from the scriptures regarding the flood of Noah, with only 8 saved, with rock strata across the earth, folded, bent, turned into a pretzel, which could only be done while the layers were still very soft, but if you want to call it a lie, and it makes you feel better, go right ahead.

That first video about research vessel. I help worked on it when it went up for maintenance. I felt sorry for them coming to the shipyard I worked at. Similarly I think loads of people pressed into it like every day and over time it ERODED the stone to have handprints and footprints 🦶 dented into it and when I saw the thumbnail I thought it was some kind of jelly like stone that tourists pressed into for fun
i think the "large hand prints" could be a fossil mold of a large seashell that has not been seen for thousands of years
Hand prints @ 14:08 are similar to the foot and hand prints in South Africa, giant foot prints that were created when the Clay was still in it's soft state. Mudfossils? No doubt.
That man has a real talent. Those photos in the desert are bee-yootiful. Natural yet composed in a way that I, at least, would call "abstract". No, I haven't recently taken my camera out and snapped any photos, but the kinds I usually compose often have that same 'abstract' look. Simple objects, shapes and colors, and combinations of them, that you may see every day, but I tend to take my pictures from odd angles, or 'cropped' in such a way that the subject, which may be a common thing to see, looks more like a simple composition of color, light, shadow, and shape. And then maybe you turn it upside down and suddenly say "Oh. Cool. It's a view down an elevator shaft! At first I thought I was looking at a spaceship about to launch!"
Anyway, I babble, but that guys photos of dunes and trees from the Namib were things I'd definitely pay to have hanging on MY walls...

This was one of the most amazing “Be Amazed” episodes! Was unaware of ANY of these entries! Great job!
On one of Percy Fawcetts exploration of the Amazon he came across swallows building nests on a cliff face. The swallow had a plant in it's beak and would rub it against the stone cliff face.
What ever the chemical was of that plant would soften the rock to a point where the bird could peck it away. By repeating the process the Swallow would end up with a hole in the rock in which it built its nest.
Was I the only one who just admired the Kayaker's control, I didn't even think of the danger for a long time.

The petroglyphs just look like the stone has been worn away from people putting their hand in/rubbing the same spot over and over for a long time.
Hell, doing that even wears down metal.
If you look at any metal statue that people touch for good luck or something, the metal there gets worn away. Makes sense for the same thing to happen with stone, especially sandstone, which is relatively soft in comparison to other rocks.
Bvvkk
For that kind of deformation it would take literally hundreds of years
That's what i was thinking too, i went few times in medieval castles, and you can see the stone stairs don't have right steps anymore because so much people walked in the same spot that stone have worn out. And it is much tougher than sandstone.
I think the petroglyphs were first drawed on the stone, then people put their hands over and over, making the carving deeper over the course of years.
@@brucebanner4206 its been there for hundreds of years, also you could probably do that to sandstone in probably a year or 2, to be honest.
Those are my handprints, made while listening to my sister talk.
We have those birds here in Sweden. I have a dog that is bred just for hunting them and other grousebirds. In swedish it's called a Tjäder. And they often get crazy in the spring when they try 2 get it on with some female dirds lol. They run around on the roads in the woods and even attack cars. It's a really delicious bird btw 😁😋
That big grouse sounds a little Scottish, speaking from the back of the throat. 😄
This channel should be called "common things explained" because nothing about these videos could be called "see for the first time" to the average person.
14:52 I think the material hardened over time and was more bendable when the handprints were created.
Gengar, a ghost type pokemon, is named after the colour gengrauvier (or something similar, i cant remember the spelling of the colour), a shade of purple which you can only see when you first wake up for a split second, and in fact, its the first colour you see.

Funny story to go with the bison. I was on a bison hunt with my family last year and we ran into a giant bison herd. they were in the middle of the train and our horses and mules were getting nervous. (yes, we used horses and mules. I have my own mule and her name is Daizy. I was on her when this event occurred.) the herd saw us and started to run towards the tiny stream. unfortunately, one of the females flipped over and onto her back in the small creek. since they have such tall and narrow spines and the creek was the same, she got stuck. she was thrashing around and was literally drowning herself. my unkles got off their animals and went over. they grabbed a log and wedged it under her head to keep her from drowning. One of my unkles ran back to his horse and grabbed his lasso. he ran back to the bison and wrapped it around her leg. they somehow got her out of the creak. they all jumped back as she ran to rejoin her herd. the top boss ran over to her to see if she was alright. when he checked her over he looked at my unkles. we didn't know what to do. the boss then did something amazing. he looked at my unkles and sort of nodded to them before returning back to his herd. they stampeded up the mountain and over the ridge. we have never seen the herd again.
I'm sure a lot of people would disregard this story for whatever reason, but I quite liked reading this :') I have heard many stories of animals showing a certain level of gratitude, or even if it was only scenting the air it still went on it's way after acknowledging you and your kin weren't a threat to them at that moment. I think that's super cool and I applaud your uncles for their kindness to that beast and quick thinking! Love it when people help out animals in such unique situations, especially to think of a couple fellas helping out a massive animal like that! Makes for a really cool mental image, I can only imagine what it was like to be there and see that in the moment :)
Appreciate ur gestures in writting down the story to be read by others.
Nice... I never herd of any thing like it.
one theory is stone carving of hand took very long time to make, may be it was religious cerimoney and people touched same place for many years.
This is what I was thinking. I’ve seen artists at the beach carve names into sandstone within a few minutes. Attach a few sharp stones to your fingers and rub away for a good hour or two and you should have yourself a few rock-swipe-petroglyphs!
I know the real answer. I love sharing truths. Mudfossil University on yt, goes into an array of subject matter, my favorite is geology and biology, explaining a lot of the unexplainable, imo. For example, Rodger did DNA testing and CT scanning on what people call rocks. Nope, it's biology and chemistry changed, metaphoring into solid rock, usually granite, limestone, etc. Those hand prints were of actual giants.
Here's why the big deception. These gigantic saltwater flooded creatures, when decaying, are very pliable, and form gold, precious gems while still decaying. Imo,this is why truth has been hidden in plain sight. Can't have little people knowing where gold can be found, so easily, and what terrain really is made up of. Because that proves genetically altered beings, since start of time. Higher creator, saltwater flood, and we are center of uni..universe (one). However, many dimensions here. Humans can only see 3 5o 5% of what's in front of eyes.
Go learn what's in plain sight..Tysons mudfossil adventures on yt and mudfossil University channel. Start with "Tracian giant drowned pregnant" video.

it probably is... or in the process of turning into stone.
It’s mud and then it dries up to make stone
Could the handprints have been made when the material was softer and it hardened over time?
whatever they did, it could be similar to how the egyptions carved their huge obelisks, statues, and even pyramid stones.

I agree. The material was mud at the time of the handprints. People want to think the "stone" was formed millions of years ago, but here is literally written documentation that this stone was formed fairly recently. It was probably a lake bed that suddenly broke out and drained. The people probably were having fun in the mud before it dried and cemented. Wanting it to be much older, people say aliens did it and weird stuff like that.

The way the hand scoop marks in the stone looks like it would in a softer materials like mud or clay. Could it possibly been softer when it was done and hardened over time?
Is it ridiculous to assume the hand prints were just pressed into a softer clay surface, which then later hardened into rock over time? Seems logical to me...

It is the same technology that they used to smooth out the pyramid stones into exact shapes. As well as melting granite, It is a type of alchemy
The peoples around Machu Picchu have stated the same that a plant mixture which is still known to them today was used to soften stone because of it's acid content. It was also used to make the smooth holes found in rock with laser precision. If you are an artist do a rough chisel and use the mixture to smooth it out and don't tell anyone your secret.

The African buffalo or Cape buffalo (Syncerus caffer) is a large sub-Saharan African bovine. Syncerus caffer caffer, the Cape buffalo, is the typical subspecies, and the largest one, found in Southern and East Africa

The fidget spinner went the way of the "pet rock" lol But not before somebody made a crap load of money!!!! I've got a true story about an encounter I had with bison in Yellowstone Park. My husband and I were going to Montana to visit family. The route we took goes right thru Yellowstone. It was in winter so the park was actually closed but you could still drive thru because the major roads went thru there. So we stopped in a parking lot for a little break. In the parking lot there was a full sized statue of a bison. I wanted to have a pic with the statue. So I walk over to it and guess what???? You got it!!! The "statue" wasn't a statue at all. OMG it turned towards me and I ran for the car. My husband was laughing so hard as I sprinted towards him!! Needless to say I made it back just in time!!! You have no idea how big this animal is until you get up close to one. They are massive and quick!!! By the way, Yellowstone is incredibly gorgeous in winter. The snow on the landscape is beautiful especially the famous geyser Old Faithful. The contrast between the thermal activity in the snow looks like a picture. Just beautiful!!
