Not matter what went down in the years following these videos, Demodisk will never fail to make me laugh. I miss Bruce and James bantering in the background, those were the days.

Imo it's Funhaus in a nutshell. You literally get the entire range of their comedy, cast, and guests across the videos, and you get to see a lot of the games they picked up and played for a series later on.

OH MY GOD - Soldier Of Fortune 2 was THE game that I played in my schools computer farm with friends! Multiplayer in that game was a lot of fun, never saw any single player. That and Unreal Tournament. Man those were the golden days of PC gaming :-).

Finally, it's back! This is an absolute classic demo disk episode, reminiscent of the older play-through videos they used to do. They've got a couple games now that they said they wanted to come back to - they really need to come back to the videos where they'd play through games over a couple videos and not get bored or fed-up with them. ( LOOKING AT YOU SiN EPISODES: EMERGENCE)

Having returned to this video, having reached a point in Demo Disk history where we are seeing the last few dregs of sordid disks that have avoided the dreaded Bruce snap thus far finally meeting their maker, I can't help but feel that the Demo Disk containing John Gore and John Soldier was The Golden Age of Demo Disk. Long gone are the days where the guys would manage to play multiple FPS demos in their entirety of the same high quality of Gore or Soldier of Fortune. That period, in hindsight, was a beautiful time of peace and prosperity. This is juxtaposed by the perpetual ennui Adam, Bruce and James are currently cursed with as they trawl through broken RTS' demos and shoddy sexy flash games. I think James quietly sobs before he closes his eyes at night before he sleeps, ever regretting the moment when he snapped this demo disk which was clearly a gem of their ill-fated demo disk wallet. Congrats Mr. Willems - you killed a unicorn.
