Man Burrow's accuracy is unreal. Props to LSU for leaving no doubt as to who the #1 team in the country was this season. Great content as always Murf. As much as it stings to watch you break down the fine details of my Tigers getting torched, it still holds true that #RealMenWatchToTheEnd
Man, it sure is nice to see a REASONABLE clemson fan. Burrow is INSANE. Like, better than colt mccoy in terms of accuracy. Colt got away with a lot because shipley...and a lot of his "passes" were just screens to the sideline. Burrow is the truth. I said it when he beat my horns...I said it before the game... And...well, I probably dont have to say it anymore. As everyone SAW it. It was a good game by all the tigers involved...but one stood above. Hopefully, burrowless, we knock em off amd meet up with u guys in the playoffs. A man can dream...
Firghtening Truth I can’t speak for the entire fanbase, but in my experience the vast majority of longtime Clemson fans still remember that we weren’t always in the hunt for a natty every season. Keeps a loss like this in perspective and I know I’m still damn proud of the team. Good luck to your Horns next season.
Both Quarterbacks in this game, as well as others in the SEC, have monster receivers that they can just throw the ball up and have them make a play. What makes Joe Burrow unique is the concept that he doesn't "find the open man". He finds the matchups he wants and then processes a read on the fly to not throw the ball to the open man, but throw the ball where the open man WILL BE... when he GETS open. So he releases so much of the time BEFORE the receiver is actually open, but he knows his WR's so well, and they trust him so well, that it looks easy. Its all timing and accuracy. ..
It’s pretty simple, Clemson was blitzing on almost every down, if they got pressure it worked when they didn’t LSU receivers were 1 on 1 & were better then Clemson DB’s. Once LSU adjusted & picked up the blitzers it was over.
Nice video on Chase. He’s had a great work ethic since high school. Everyone loves what happens on the field, but the work off the field allows players to truly maximize their talents. 🗣 LSU!
Murf you a bad boy. I'm at work falling asleep cause I stayed up until like 1:40 CST watching the stream and you actually put out content the next/same day. And you were still going when I logged off. That's Hard. Thank you for the work you put in bro.
@kellen - Thanks, bro! I'm paying for it today, too! I only got a few hours of sleep before I woke up to do this video. I'm all about putting in that work. Cats can question my attitude, but nobody can ever question my work ethic!
Kevin Fleckinger lmao them boys were locked up! Did you see the PI’s they called on LSU? 😂😂😂 the refs were keeping Clemson in the game with all of the calls they gave Clemson
To be honest, I think Clemson D coordinator did a very good job disguising his defense in the beginning of the game. But LSU figured it out and for some reason he never adjusted. Joe Burrow was obviously confused up until late in the second quarter. That's just my opinion on what happened.
Clemson's scheme is kind of unconventional anyway. I think that was a lot of it. It took part of the first half for Burrow to fully grasp what they were doing against him. After that, the game was all but over.
Geaux Tigers We made our adjustments and began to score is true but the first two drives we were pinned within our own 5 yd line. Joe had a great scramble and throw that was negated bc of a penalty which brought us back and ruined our scheme for the time being
Thanks for bringing that heat this season bro. The X’s and O’s and breakdowns were on point. Can’t tell you how may times you had an analysis and it’s exactly what I saw in the game. Route concepts, schemes on defense, you were on point bro! I wish you much success brother.
I recently turned 62 years old, and a proud Carolina Gamecock Fan! But in my 55 years of loving and watching college football I have never seen the TPT, or total package team until this year! Shea Patterson at Michigan finished his college career 400 too in some stats over a thousand yards short of what LSU andJoe Burrow accomplished in a single season? Shea Patterson for Michigan finished his career with a total of 45 TD Passes? That’s four years? LSU and Joe Burrow finished the 2019 season with 60 plus touch down passes? That is sick! I want to close with stats, and numbers that prove this was the Greatest Football Team “EVER”! Clemson got the Ali Rope A Dope thrower on them Monday night? Show us all you have, and we will let you get up 10 or 14 points, and Big O and Staff documented everything Clemson had on both sides of the ball, and when they knew it was timeLSU beat Clemson like a Highschool team! And the great sportsmanship LSU showed with kneeling with a minute plus on the 3 or 4 yard line showed, Style, Class, while kicking that Orange ass. Thanks, and God Bless.once again, the greatest team ever, numbers do not lie.
I'm a Clemson fan since the day I was born in 1986 but I gotta give all the props to LSU. They are incredibly consistent. Their defense showed up in force last night. Even tho it sucks Clemson lost , if we were gonna lose, I'm glad it came to the number 1 team in the nation. Still have 2 nattys in 4 years tho
Nice video, first time I’ve seen you👍🏼 Big time OhSt fan here; so happy for Joe and LSU OhSt might have this title if Joe was still here, but it was hard to argue against going with Haskins... OhSt screwed up semifinal v Clemson, with like 50 paper cuts, yet still losing by only 6. We didn’t have good enough QB play, should have been a win. This was LSU’s year👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Loved your humor! Thanks for the study of the plays. LSU will lose a few good guys besides Joe, so next year will be different for sure. Hoping coach O will recruit more great talents for the next season. LSU is a wonderful college to join. What a fantastic year it was for my Tigers! Savoring it forever!
I just want to say that your videos are incredibly educational! I used to play football a long time ago, but I was a linemen and only focused on my blocking schemes alone. Never on what the offensive schemes developed into out of my blocks, or what the defense was doing outside of trying to get to my qb. But watching your videos this season have been phenomenal in everyway to me, makes me pay more attention to what’s happening on the field and have an even greater appreciation for the athletes on both sides of the ball. So again thank you for the top quality content, and geaux tigers!
You killed it in the livestream last night billin. Clemson never saw it coming. They thought their season gameplan would win the game for them because of their record and talent. And it wasn't enough. Didn't think they had to adjust and they didn't. Like how you show game film. Question is, where you get the footage from?
Great coverage and commentary. Coach Venables had to pick his poison, and either way it was gonna be poison. Geaux Tigers! Best college offense I’ve ever seen, where you just knew that if they got the ball enough they’d outscore you. I’d love to see you cover Coach Dave Aranda’s Defense who gave up pts. early then dominated the rest of the game. He’s one of the unsung heros of this Championship game/team. Thanks!
Come on man what do you want poor Clemson to do. They basicly had 3 lineman and 1 true linebacker playing and rest were corners and safeties. Burrow needed 3 series to figure them out then it was on. The team to truly challenge that offense this year was Auburn and Clemson doesn't have those 2 tackles nor those corners that Auburn had. It was a huge mismatch and LSU is pretty much unstoppable all year. Tho props for Clemson at least looking at that film and giving it shot.
Finally decided to subscribe. Love this type of content as it's severely lacking in a long format like this. Only find good film breakdowns on twitter and this guy is just as good if not better than them.

LSU won the game because of Burrow’s accuracy on the long balls and it helped that the WRs are complete studs. The LSU defense kept constant pressure on Lawrence which I didn’t expect. We should give major credit to the LSU O Line for giving Burrow time to scan the field. As far as one season is concerned would you say Burrow ranks up there now with Watson and Newton?
All those Clemson fans saying Lsu hasn’t seen an elite defense all year... Whats the excuse now??? It took a min and they had a great scheme/ game plan but, it only lasted about 1 qtr. No one stopped LSU all year. No one! They were slowed by an elite Auburn D-line and still put up over 500 in that game.
Nick L. I think the only team that could play with them was Alabama besides the auburn game no one had the offense that was needed besides maybe bama they just didn’t get it done though
LSU's receivers and DBs were just better all night long in this game. No excuses and I'm a former CU Tiger. Credit granted - hats off to the other Tigers. It takes a lot to sustain the level of success that programs like 'Bama and Clemson has. Clemson is still learning to be great. This year's recruiting class will certainly help that. #ALLIN

But yeah props to LSU, their defense did just enough to let their offense crack it open, and then they were able to convert their momentum far better. Here’s hoping we’ll be back next year
Hey, Murf, it occurred to me after watching the first half of LSU vs. Texas A&M in 2018 that if Burrow had been playing with the system that Coach Brady introduced, the LSU receivers would have been easier for Burrow to pick out and hit. I was wondering if you could do an analysis of the LSU 2018 team (before Brady came in) vs. the LSU 2019 team, illustrating how the change in systems made Burrows receivers easier to pick out and hit. I think that would make a great show.
As a Clemson fan, it was so frustrating watching the DB play. Yes, with a couple different plays the game could've been closer - Clemson down by just 3 well into the 3rd. But it was so easy to see that leaving all that space for the WRs to move was a recipe for disaster. The way they would adjust their breaks based on the leverage the DB would select and Burrow seeing/anticipating exactly the same adjustment - it was just too easy. Add to that an off night for TL16 and the Clemson play callers abandoning ETN - not counting the stupid option pitch to the short side of the field (WHAT?!?) he did not get a touch from 10+ minutes left in the 3rd (NO TOUCHES FOR ETN IN Q4!!!) it just wasn't going to happen. On Clemson's last score, the drive was 5 plays, and 4 of them were ETN. Why that was the end of his contributions I do not understand. I know Queen was on him, but come on. LSU was the better team. I, too, am stoked for next year. I'm ready for August already. Man, I miss CFB when the season is over. Thanks, Murf!
Top Billin', in your future segments when you describe better, alternative schemes by Clemson, would you then describe how LSU would have countered those schemes. For example, with split safeties by Clemson, would LSU have just dominated the center of the field with more slants and such?
I'm not a coach but Clemson Corner needed help. Zone up or double him and and leave Jefferson man on man. But the Bilitnekoff winner won the game on Clemsons corner. It was clear he could not cover #1. Double up ☝.
LSU did have one historic flashy season but sad to say that it looks like it was a one off thing. Clemson and OSU will be back and are already the favorites entering the 2020 season
As i was watching the game i realized how good LSU receivers really are definitely 3 or 4 NFL starters Joe had opportunity to play with not a lot of QBs can say that.
I think the thought process with the DBs giving the receivers space was they were blitzing up the middle all night so Brent probably thought as soon as the blitz got there the receivers would still be covered a little and force joe to make quick decisions and they didn’t know if he could or not...either way LSU dominated

Underground King! Facts 💯👍😎
Would love to hear your thoughts on that BALLSY 3rd and long QB draw right before halftime. Thanks for your great content and breakdowns all season.
?? Huh? I literally dissected that in this very video
Not Burrow’s TD run. I’m talking about the draw on 3rd and long with 20 seconds left, no timeouts. It set-up Moss’s first TD catch.
Oh yeah!!! That shit was nuts and cashews!!! Tons of BALLS for that one!
