You probably already know by now, but Equilibrium gives armor regen every 10 seconds. It heals by 6% at level 4, and his armor is 640, so he has 38 Equilibrium regen.
the other 6 perk slots you can unlock as follows: 7th: beat all maps on nightmare mode 8th: beat all maps on impossible mode 9th: get top 10 on weekly leaderboard (#1 gets slot permanently, others get it for a week) 10th: beating all challenges in the challenge tab 11th: beating a mutation (beating one makes you have it for a day, so beating all of them makes you have it permanently unless a new mutation comes out) 12th: resetting in career mode

I wonder if any of the new perks would be better replacements for some of the ones here.

Remove death defier and healthy health/shockproof perks, and you're left with decent 6 slot tank build
