Hello Lukas, I really loved your video! I will be going back to Baja soon in December. Do you have any recommendation on agencies to book the trip with to do such an amazing experience? Are the takes on sea lions from Isla Espiritu Santo?
Thank you Barbara. The sea lions were at Los Islotes, very close to Isla Espiritu Santo. I can recommend Dive Ninja Expeditions, they are based in Cabo and work together with different local operators. For shark diving I can recommend Cabo Shark Dive.
I was there in November. I was diving up in La Paz, so most footage I took there (whale shark, sea lions etc.). Only the hammerhead and silky shark I filmed in Cabo San Lucas. However the hammerhead is rare that time of the year.
If you follow certain rules it's quite safe, the sharks are really only interested in the bait. I have done it many times and not once they tried to attack me. Of course they are wild animals and there is always some higher risk but it's not as dangerous as it looks as long as you don't do something stupid. Their behaviour is quite predictable and they give you signs if they are not happy with your presence.
I think it was around 26 Celsius but it‘s getting colder. Difference between early November and lat November can be big. The shark diving I did with „cabosharkdive“ and the other things with „dive in la paz“ both I can recommend.

they let you in the water snorkling, same time they feed the sharks? this looks not really safe for me.....

There should be some cool sharks around when you are there. I went with cabo shark dive, great guys 👍🏻
