Many trees are cut because of d widening work of NH,I feel the contractors of such work should b forced to set up Miawaki forest to compensate d tree felling by them
Your genuineness behind this remark is well clear . But the contractors involved are just tools implementing decisions taken by higher authorities. The government/concerned authorities should take the initiative of funding the contractors to make compensatory forests and monitor that it is being done. Also, as
a social commitment gesture, the public too can voluntarily plant trees.

in geological time scale climate change is common
Before some 50000 years The sea level was much lower because there was an Ice age(water locked as ice)- our ancestors could move from one continent to other- eg Berring strait. Infact ice age made the dark africans into white people due to lack of sun light . they then devloped ability to digest milk(Vitamin d).
Some Theories say that human farming prevented an Ice age ie. warming the earth by the release of methane from our domesticated cows(since 12000 years ago)
More over there are other factors contributing to earths climate such as the orbital parameters- a slight change in the orbit could trigger an ice age
But in human time scale climate change is a problem that we created and we have to solve it
Planting trees is very good and forests help too but too negligible
Considering the fact that methane is more dangerous than co2 in warming the planet, a cow is dangerous than a fossil fuel emitting vehicle.
The global meat industry is contributing more to global warming
Also air pollution is not alone responsible for climate change
water , soil pollution also indirectly affects the earth temperature
Each individual to work a lot by changing the attitude and lifestyle
There should be a Political, Economic, Technological and even Sociological measures to combat the man induced climate Change .
The covid effect healed the earth slightly
The Earth has excellent ways of healing itself looking back at history of ancient civilizations- all of them perished like we will do so provided we repeat their mistake

But there are limitations in the awareness of the common public and also in their contributions to resolve problems.
It is evident that the climate change issue cannot be solved by just planting trees. But this is the best and most practical effort that can be taken by a common man. A small step by one and each to tackle climate change
