Gorgeous car, smart technology! Just shut up and take our money already! I own a 16 year old Hyundai, bought it 2 years ago for $800. I wasn't expecting to still be driving it, and falling in love with Hyundai! Sure, it isn't perfect at 16 years and 140,000 miles, but it's pretty darn reliable! Now I wish I had known sooner about the engineering and quality of these cars. I live off-grid on 20 acres of mountain wilderness. One of the biggest problems I've had here with cars is the rodents. We have a species called the Wood Rat that destroys cars, chews wiring and builds massive nasty nests in the engines. Hyundai has a plastic cover for the engine that protects most of the components from rat damage! If I'd known, I would have bought a Hyundai long ago, instead of my 2 Subarus that were both destroyed, eaten by rats! I found out later that Subaru uses wheat, corn and soy to make their plastics, and wiring harnesses use PEANUT OIL to lubricate and slide the wiring into new cars. Might as well print a menu on the outside of the car for the rats! I went to start the Subaru I had for only a few weeks only to find that the ignition wires had been eaten, not just broken, they were GONE! Rats also destroyed my beautiful F150 truck, my Ford Ranger, and my Dodge 4X4 truck. So far, only the Hyundai has survived! Since I live off-grid on 100% renewable solar and wind power, an EV Hyundai is my dream car! I drive 50 miles or less when I go to town once a week, so it would be perfect for me. I could bring my carbon footprint down even more!
