Not only did the festival punish her financially for exercising that right, they also punished the other members. If that's not textbook discrimination and an FU in the face of our court system, I don't know what is. It doesn't matter the content of her letter, or how wrong or right she was - Northside violated a principle of our justice system process. The right to support someone we know before the judge. In other words, the right to free speech within a government process and the right to not be punished. Obviously, Every law abiding New Yorker should give Northside a dose of their own medicine. Since Northside doesn't support our court system - boycott them. Drive them out of business. Just like they chose to do. Thomas Frank is right. Liberals have lost their f-cking minds.
