- My Husband's Favorite Food❗Quick and Easy ground beef dinner recipe! This one pot dinner takes just 30 minutes to make in a single skillet! Your family will love this homemade ground beef and potato dinner a lot! This easy recipe is the perfect quick weeknight dinner for your family! With easy ingredients like beef, potato, cheese, onions and spices - you'll never choose another quick and hearty dinner again! So juicy, yummy and hearty. Incredibly flavorful! Ingredients:
add 450g (1lb) ground beef
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 onion
add 250 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
1/2 bell pepper
Season with salt and black pepper
1/2 tsp sweet peppers
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dry parsley
3 potatoes
115 g (4 oz.) mozzarella cheese
Bake for 10 minutes at 380°F / 190°C

We used to cook a variation of this meal on Fridays, my mom called it “Gefegte Kueche” ;) sometimes we add mushrooms or pasta or rice, carrots, tomatoes or whatever was left over but the base is essentially the meat, heavy cream, potatoes and onions along with spices and salt and pepper.
I still make it to this day whenever we have leftovers but I go easier on the heavy cream :) thanks from Portland/OR for this video!

I love these simple budget meals, A friend of mine grew up in a family of 3 kids with a devorced father and his father would always make something he called Hobo beans, Ground beef with a 28oz can of baked beans and a 15oz can of yellow corn. Surprisingly it was really good.
My mother made that or close to it for me growing up. The cream and cheese are new! My hubby is wanting pinto beans, fried taters and cornbread....think il fix em like this! THANK YOU HUN. YOU PEACEFULL NESS IS PRESCIOUS TO TAP INTO...

Reminds me of Shepard's pie! Wicked good and easy dish. I followed this recipe but subbed parsley with basil, I added a whole orange bell pepper, smoked paprika, and a few tiny cubanelles I picked from my seedlings. I also used White Irish Cheddar subbed for the Mozzarella. Maybe next time I'll add peas as an additional vegetable. I know that seems like a lot of changes, but it's what I had on hand. This recipe seems highly adaptable, and probably delicious in many ways.

Similar to American and then it changes a lot of times we don't have the red pepper or paprika and then we don't have the cream and we usually have more potatoes. Usually we have some kind of a cream sauce in there possibly or a cream soup usually condensed from a can.
