What is most intriguing in my perspective about this video, is how they slipped in subliminal messages throughout the video. "Ideas first", "Skaters must be united"..etc. It creates an effect much deeper than just skateboarding. It reminds me of the artist Basquiat. He used to put a single line through words that he wanted to emphasize most, which made it stand out even more because you end up questioning why he did that.
Similarly, the messages that are shown for a split second creates a hint of mystery as to why they did that, and simultaneously creates an added splash of flavor.

Magenta and Theories of Atlantis (Polar, Hopps, Traffic) keeping skating raw and artistic. I don't know how anyone can dislike this video. Except for that one dislike that must be a street league fanboy. Super stoked that Josh Stewart and Theories don't sell to Zumiez or mall chain store. Keep skateboarding in the hands of skaters.

magenta rules. one of my favorite decks i have ever had. I wish more American skateshops had them because I would skate them all the time. Probably will just do an international order for my next board. I think the board was a Koichiro Uehara......it had a Japanese subway map overlayed on stained woodgrain. Probably my favorite graphic ever.
