Hi guys, Dave and Soph here. As a highly experienced H.G.V. driver herself, Sophie wants to congratulate Stu on his driving skills. She says that as a new driver in that class of vehicle, and to get in and out of that spot were exceptionally great. Also, his own comments about the learning curve and that he owned the issues, shows that he will make a great driver. As for me, I just look forward to the sunshine, the views, the adventures, the general chatter and the next Vlog. Best wishes, D+S xxxxx
Hello Dave and soph so lush to hear from you both and wow such compliments for Stu he will love that haha 😛 he has done very well though to be fair .. love that you love watching and hope to see you again this year sometime let us know if you are about live us lot xx
I have an 8m Motorhome and one of my first purchases was a 360 degree camera system. I’m amazed at how good it is. Also how less stressful general driving is now ( rear view mirror capability) and how easier manoeuvring into tight pitches is. I went with Motorhome Retrofits near Pool. Camos also do one. I would seriously recommend you fit cameras to your new vehicle. I justify the initial cost as a saving against a large insurance claim, evidence in any collision and saving a large repair bill for my Motorhome. The installation cost is probably less than the repair cost and it’s a lot less stressful while driving/manoeuvring a large vehicle.
Good to see you out. We moved to spain in 2006, feb. One of the 1st things we discovered in mar/apr was that spain has april showers just like the uk. Normally over easter you can gaurantee it will rain when all the big easter processions are on. This year it is far worse than normal. But certain areas of spain are desperate for rain. We live in Malaga region and we have many restrictions on so to us this is precious. For holiday makers not so. At the moment we are in our van at La Linea, you know it, its pi--ing down. Bellavista's a nice site, nice fish and chip shop local too. Enjoy your time here but it is set to improve from tomorrow. Take care and enjoy that new van.
Absolutely gutted we didn’t get one day of sun haha it’s also raining back in wales ah well never mind we have had fun as a family and enjoyed being back in Europe happy Easter x
Love that you still have your I ❤Morocco sleeves on your passport 👍👍 Don’t think I am going to take mine off either, it’s a fabulous reminder of a brilliant time ❤️😍❤️xxxx
Aww hope the sun comes out for you guys soon. The positives with the tight van manouvres is that Stu will become a real pro very quickly! the other positive is once parked you really have a lovely big van to accomodate you all nicely and can have the pop up to make your space even bigger - pro's and con's and all of that.
Your van is beautiful and perfect for your family Stu your driving skills are amazing we bought the same pop up shelter Out Door Revolution we were impressed with their so easy to put up wind break we bought the shelter try and cut down on the driving hours chill and enjoy your lovely new van
Lush! We tried the pop up once all holiday due to bad weather but we’re also impressed how easy it was to out up and down. He needs to rest but us being us heading home early because we can’t stand anymore rain! Xx

Some free campers are to blame, as the allowed to park, but not to put camping chairs and tables out next to the van. On some spots they wont even move there stuff for the locals to park at the beach
thank you for allowing us to follow you. but see that you buy a finished motorhome when you are so skilled at making them. you should show what you can do and not buy such a new wagon❤❤
We took an American fifth wheeler on the same route as you what a nightmare not designed for uk or Europe too much stress when you are supposed to be chilling
There’s some huge sites on the way into Benidorm built specifically for big mohos. We passed millions and millions of pounds worth on bike ride out into the mountains. In other news we’ve booked Benners again for Xmas. 😊

Sorry for the late reply, this one has apple play not android but it’s easy to use, thank you
Lovely motor home. Have you hired it (as it’s left hand drive)?
No it’s ours bought it from a show rather than waiting 2 years for the RHD x
@@TheRollingRucks it looks a beauty xx
Some free campers are to blame, as the allowed to park, but not to put camping chairs and tables out next to the van. On some spots they wont even move there stuff for the locals to park at the beach
Thank you for sharing this it’s a shame some spoil it for others Spain are so accommodating of motorhome x
I struggle with a 8ft wide, 8m caravan in Spain so I can imagine you found it difficult on some pitches. Fire regs don’t exist in Spain 😂
Fair play with a caravan we struggled in the uk with one that’s why we went onlooking in the first place x
THATS WHAT SHE SAID (sorry Darren nicked your saying)❤❤❤
😂😂😂 sure he won’t mind haha x
Where did you buy your motorhome
M&C
@@TheRollingRucks
What was the dealer you purchased your motorhome ?
Did you go to Germany for it
Omg was stressing for stu, no van worth that
He’s definitely got more confidence since
Are you allowed to sleep in your van overnight on a ferry
No you go up on the deck
Iovely van i hope you get some sun while you are there where is pebbles the cat these days enjoy all of you x x x ❤
Thank you we haven’t as yet x
Generally, my Camper is 7 m +4 m for my trailer with Car and I have not many problems in Europe
That’s great to hear x
thank you for allowing us to follow you. but see that you buy a finished motorhome when you are so skilled at making them. you should show what you can do and not buy such a new wagon❤❤
Thank you we have built our own van in the past and showed it x
We took an American fifth wheeler on the same route as you what a nightmare not designed for uk or Europe too much stress when you are supposed to be chilling
Yes it can be totally right! Aires are okay but campsites not so good x
Ye have a big "jam jar". Them there camp sites were not shaped for big posh motors like thine !
😂😂😂
What ferry operator did you use to Bilboa?
Brittany ferries
What a fantastic MH , tbh it’s too big for me 😮
Thank you and yes it’s a big one x
Hope you get some sun, not much here either…
Nope nothing! X
Ew I just saw a bit here. I’m hoping to drive to your neck of the woods. Any good basic sites near Betsy-co ahhh what ever it’s called. Snowdon area.
Agree, last week I was on the Santander/Plymouth boat last week………. 2 nights is too long on the ferry and I’d rather drive via France.
Yes 🙌 we are heading the Plymouth one back and hope it’s easier otherwise il be back to France driving x
There’s some huge sites on the way into Benidorm built specifically for big mohos. We passed millions and millions of pounds worth on bike ride out into the mountains. In other news we’ve booked Benners again for Xmas. 😊
Haha good ol Benidorm! Look forward to it it’s great x
@@TheRollingRucks if we see you again we’ll get a porn star martini in :)
If I were you I'd stop in Roquetas, it's on p4n,plenty of room, the trouble with Aguilas is your well out of town you will have to drive into town and back again,Roquetas 5min walk to beach, prom, and bars restaurants, brill prices also.
We have visited there in the past and it’s always full haha we live Águilas but you are right regarding the distance x
Hi what was the cost of the ferry please
This route cost 800 roughly each way x
@@TheRollingRucks 🤕ouch
Yes it too big For touring in Spain ok in UK.best. of luck.😂
Thank you x
