just saying this because I'm tired of the same anti-piracy formula (player gets warning and then either screen or get jump scared and then the screen kind of formula) My concept of an anti piracy would be that the game looks normal at first, an hour later, it's textures start to bug, another hour, character models start bugging in and out, hour by hour, the game slowly deteriorates into nothing but a mess of corrupted code with the text "YOU DID THIS" and "YOU WILL PAY" flashing everywhere around the screen as the textures start to flash like crazy and at the end of it all, the screen cuts to black and back to the player character's head on a bloodied stake with their eyes torn out with the anti piracy text we know and love hovering over them

I agree with you but that would be kinda hard to do in small fan-made/art style meant for the platforms I got these on lol

@@AlexisOhNo yeah but yet again, it's just a concept, who knows if it'll come to reality or what not, I just thought i was tired of the same "OMG is that Mario about to be shot with a gun because I pirated? OMG!" kind of formulas so I thought I'd make my own concept of an anti-piracy formula, something that would make the player (or watcher) go like "WHAT IN THE LIVING CHRIST F*CK IS HAPPENING?! THIS IS NOT AT ALL NORMAL!" and not "eh, not even that scary" (edit: and also if someone were to actually make a video off of this formula, it would probably be like a timelapse because there's no way they're really going to be filming hours upon hours of just a game deteriorating into pirated madness)
