@MrHandro13 Yeah its aluminum for sure, I thought leader at first but its nicer than that, on the macaframa website theres a picture of the bb area. Thats it though.
@thelgskater Its mainly about weight transfer. When you get ready to skid you have to transfer you weight to over the front wheel then lock wheel. If you lock your wheel with your weight over the back you will be fighting a battle you wont win.
@TheWeedBurpz I like raleighs(: especially when its been restored, with the embelem in the front, and the raleigh still on the down tube. vintage and clean
@Thatssketchy1 No, not Kia's unless the decals on dirts are stripped... The bike ur talking about is the first guy and yes its an 04, bianchi only made black for the 03 and 04s. Im talking about the second guy. thanks for the reply though.
@thelgskater Yup what 1979grandprix said, I can skid with my pedals level and all weight on the seat takes a while to get the muscle in your legs if you cant do it already. Having your weight in the back helps you stop/slow down faster.
@Thatssketchy1 Oh, actually I think I just figured it out, I'm pretty sure its a cinelli vigorelli, the inclined top tube isn't really noticeable due to the frame pad, its aluminum, no cutout, and most of all, an earlier pic of Dirt shows him with the same components and wheels on a vigorelli, so maybe he repainted it or just stickered the shit out of it haha
@slaking08 Yes you will damage your rims by being hard on them, most likely bend the rims.. then the spokes start to bend and break. Remember, these bikes were meant to be as lightweight as possible. If you want to be hard on your rims get a set of Velocity Chukkers and 32c or bigger tires or even a 26" mtb wheel setup (the strongest setup available)
That's a Pista Concept. Hydroformed aluminum, carbon fork. They sell Super Pistas which is basically the same thing, except the fork is drilled for a brake.
@TheWeedBurpz the thing is that's not an aerospoke.... it's either the HED 3 or the Specialized tri-spoke, couldt really tell from all the stickers. aerospokes have 5 not 3...
when you do it , loosen your legs , really loosen and its like coasting except the bike pulls your legs around, most skids are not showing actual stop skids, they are more like drifting and managing speed so it looks impossible to stop when its not.
@cuhh7 Haha, the saddle should be high enough so that on the bottom of the pedal rotation you can just bend your knees still. The stem these guys tend to use is called a quill but they aren't very common these days. In terms of ratio, anything from 2:1 to 3:1 is common; by far the most common chainring for the rear wheel on a fixie is 16 tooth.
@Thatssketchy1 Yeah, exactly my thoughts, really cool frame though. I can almost for sure say its aluminum by the thickness of the tubing, but I can't be 100% on that. No cutout on the seattube means it aint a concept leader or rush hour pro...gah its the only frame i haven't been able to decipher from all the macaframa riders and I just really want to know haha. Thanks again for taking the time to comment back though :D
I wanna look like you guys look wen you guys ride because you guys are all the way like in the front do you have to put your seat all the way infront and does the hight of your seat post matter if it does can you tell me how high it needs to be,and also does it depend on the kind of stem you have, and what kind of ratio do you have if anyone can answer me thanks
to answer these ratio questions. 47:17 will I've you the most skid spots, however if you want it to be easy to skid try something like a 49:18. it will allow for better engagement and less work because you get more leverage adding the extra teeth
@xWaffleZz Lean very forward and lead with your head. To skid left, look left.. release the pedals 1/2 a turn and skid the right, looking right. Looking where you wanna go helps w/ shit like that.
Does anyone know what stem Kias using? Im guessing thomson but I cant find any 25.4 clamps that thomson makes that would fit those drops. Hoping someone could help
@PeterLongfellowxD Dont worry about it. Just ride for the love of it and brand names dont matter. Of course I want a Bianchi Super Pista also, but im happy with my vintage Peugeot :)
@MrHandro13 Oh haha my bad, it wasnt loading so I posted the comment before watching the whole vid. Its hard to tell on dirts the frame dosnt have any distinctive features and the stickers dont help.
what are a good skid tyre? i keep popping them and not going very far but the vids i see these guys are skiding down long ass hills and still have rubber to spare.....wtf?????
Yea the only reson why i ride brakless is that i also use my bike on the track but if u ride brakless on the road you should always wear a helmet just incase
I love Dirt's rain shots. Fixed-gear bikes in the rain is pure sex to watch!
this is such a beautiful segment......the music and scenery and riding are all so smooth and mellow.
@MrHandro13 Yeah its aluminum for sure, I thought leader at first but its nicer than that, on the macaframa website theres a picture of the bb area. Thats it though.

who here in 2020
@TheWeedBurpz I like raleighs(:

Very good, love this video!!!
@Krankshot17 I think he uses a Leader fork over the Bianchi fork because the Leader fork is lighter and is more Aerodynamic. :)

@MrHandro13 It looks like a bianchi pista concept possibly 2004 but not sure on the year.
@Adrian13346 I dont know man, I was thinking that, but its really hard to tell if he has a seat tube cut out at 480p

I wish i had his front rim!!! :l

balls on this guy with the Spinergy wheel..holy crap
I don't ride fixed but still it really makes me wanna go out and ride
@TheWeedBurpz awesome I hate, when someone defiles a vintage bike. so I applaud you.
awesome!

i like how they skid from left and right. i wanna learn how to do that
@Thatssketchy1 Yeah, exactly my thoughts, really cool frame though. I can almost for sure say its aluminum by the thickness of the tubing, but I can't be 100% on that. @luigi101778 I see him rocking red Vans but a lil later in the video..
Bike PORNography! That Pista Concept complete must have been $2000-$2500. It looks so solid, I want to ride it!
@slaking08 If you are doing tricks and what not I would use 28s for sure. I think 23's would allow more damage to your rims than bigger tires..
@alexduhh100 Or i guess a spinergy rev x if ur talking bout dirts front wheel
2:54 does anyone know where online I can get that same exact four spoke? I really want one in that style.
someone tell me what are those gold bars kia is rolling on his pista.
i really wonder how fast these guys from macaframa&MASH SF go through their tires

Spinergy 4-Spokes still sell on ebay.
@SuperVenemous he has a bianchi super pista 2004. leader forks.
uhh, and idk about the bars.
Nk buat jgk lahh...
they usually run smaller ratios like 42-16 or 46-17
Where can i find the same kind of carbon riser as the one in the first scene? I want it to be higher than the cinelli ones
Does anyone know what stem Kias using? Im guessing thomson but I cant find any 25.4 clamps that thomson makes that would fit those drops. Hoping someone could help
@slaking08 Kia looks like he's running 28's, looks like Dirt is running a 25 or 23.
what kind of shoes are the red ones ?
2 you can rotate wheel in skid place...
what kind of shoes does the first guy have
Anyone know what handlebars Kia uses? the straights.
Good luck, they stopped making those about 15 years ago due to stability issues when hitting the exact point between 2 of the spokes on the axis.
@BLACKNGREENNINJA Deda only makes their pista drops in chrome or black. They're probably B123s. Just letting you know.
i was wondering what is the width of it cus it looks hella tight
2:24 lady comes out of the store mirin so hard. lol
@PeterLongfellowxD Dont worry about it. Just ride for the love of it and brand names dont matter. Of course I want a Bianchi Super Pista also, but im happy with my vintage Peugeot :)
@winterburn38 thanks man. appreciate it
Wat kind of drops does Kia have??
how do you skid like that?
@MrHandro13 Oh haha my bad, it wasnt loading so I posted the comment before watching the whole vid. Its hard to tell on dirts the frame dosnt have any distinctive features and the stickers dont help.
i can't find this song anywhere -_-
What brand is his front wheel?
how can they skid so easily while sitting?
nice!
what are a good skid tyre? i keep popping them and not going very far but the vids i see these guys are skiding down long ass hills and still have rubber to spare.....wtf?????

"thick slick" man those are the best i know so far that will last you
Any idea what frame Dirt has?
@cxbra alright thanks, just wondering but is using 23's fine? i just dont want to damage my rim from hard landing
does anybody know what song this is? it's chaotic, but sooo soothing.
front rim at 4:13???
Spinergy
purple half cabs red old skools white eras all vans of course
Thickslick, Gatorskin Hardshell w/ Forte Pop Resitant Tubes
Love this video what gear ratio are u running to deal with the hills
Is it bad that I don't like holding my bars right in the middle like he does
at 4:18 if u look closely dirt looks like a cartoon.. they did this on some other guy to making it look like he was riding at a speed of a car.
they skid with there pedals level?? how???
Jumping curbs on a spinergy: the definition of a bad idea.
The Calmest face while bombing ive ever seen...
i love going down hill on a fixie

Yea the only reson why i ride brakless is that i also use my bike on the track but if u ride brakless on the road you should always wear a helmet just incase
