Thanks for an informative video Mark. I hope you also changed the gasoline filter, Sharpened the blades and check the drive system for the mowing deck. I don't remember if I mention this to you in the past. But I think your videos would be well served by pressure.Washing the machine before you begin working on it so that it is much easier to see what it is you are doing. Take care.
I have the craftsman ys 4500 42 inch cut had to replace the carburetor on the engine also replaced the front steering knuckles and the front wheels and the rear Wheels
Mark I've been following you for a long time. I need to purchase a new riding mower. I know one of the engine builders has a compression relief part that breaks often. Can you tell me what engine to stay away from? Thanks
the briggs 31 and 33 ci. have problems with the compression relief on cam if you are putting a new on go with a 44ci. briggs if you are buying a new mower stay away from the big box stores make sure it has a twin briggs or kawaski

Good video
Glad you enjoyed
Adding a tad of sea foam or B12 is a good idea too control carbon buildup 😊
I have that same motor on my YT 3000
I only use Ethanol free gas with one oz of two stroke oil per 5 gallons of gas.
Bob or Doug McKenzie?

Powermore engines are hard to get parts for and expensive 😮
Don’t buy a single cylinder engine period, the kohler 7000 is a good engine so far 😊
Briggs single cylinder engines have been having problems with the compression relief breaking. Requires a new camshaft which has been hard to get.

Everyone should learn how to remove their own ethanol from their gas.
People are being forced to bring in their older riding and push mowers to be fixed because they can’t buy new ones and now bad credit 😢😢😢
got to do valve adjustment on that same craftsman model
