How to Fold an DIY : Origami 3D Cube

- You can easily make Origami Cube like that. Check out this video for step by step instruction.

Steps :
1) Take a square sheet of 15cms.
2) Fold in the centre and make a crease.
3) Now fold two edges to the centre crease.
4) Then fold it horizontally to make a vertical crease.
5) Now, bring the top left edge to meet the crease at the bottom as shown.
6) Then bring the bottom right edge to meet the crease at the top as shown.
7) Unfold and you will have two small triangle edges popping out.
8) Fold them inwards as shown.
9) Now place the top left edge below the bottom fold and insert the bottom right edge to the top fold as shown.
10) Turn the paper and fold the sharp edges to meet the centre as shown, your 'side' is ready.
11) Make 5 more, since we need 6 sides for a cube.
12) The following is the most trickiest part. but just be patient and follow the video.
13) First attach three sides as shown, then add one after another to the right sides to complete.

Hey! :) What’s the size of the folded cube in the end? Want to figure out how big the paper should be, if I need a cube that’s 6 cm by 6 cm.
well.. looking at the video i think the final cube will be 1/4th of the size of original paper dimensions.. hence you will need 6 of 24X24 cm papers ...

it is super easy and fun as well and the most tricky which u wrote is not tricky at all tanks to you
There's another way I find easier but it's just because I've been doing it longer, still very simple and easy!

Thanks. But im using one sided origam papper with asian patterns on it. So itd be nice to know which side will face out.
Edit: i see now. Just made one. Mountian fold up on the pattern side. Ty again, great video easy to follow. If you play it at 1/2 speed for assembly makes it easy to follow along.
Blind do I start with the pattern side down or the blank side?
Man I was hoping this was the one, they tought me in elementary school, it was a cube but you used one piece of paper, and we would put a hole in front, then we would blow in it, and you had a cube, I could make it so easy back then, but forgot how in the 40 years since. Man I'd love to figure it out
