  • In this video you'll learn my recipe, and tips, for getting labels and glue off beer bottles with oxiclean. This is an extremely easy method of de-labeling bottles but watch and read below for important tips
    Tips:
    1. Use a bucket. Do not use the sink for soaking bottles like this. Any glue that goes down the drain can potentially clog it over time.
    2. Dump the dirty water outside. Again, try to avoid sending it down your drain to prevent glue clogging drains.
    3. Rinse the bottles inside and out very thoroughly to get the oxiclean out.
    4. Polish the bottles with paper towels to remove any last bits of glue.
Homebrewers are always looking for de-labeled bottles. Cleaning off your empties like this is a great, and easy way to get more bottles for free.

Thanks Mugs! Straight to the point, no BS. Job well done sir. I assume you are using OxiClean-Free? There are also cheaper knock-offs you can get at the dollar stores. Cheers to you!
