COLLEGE DECISION REACTIONS 2020

Critique my editing!!
Schools are as follows:
Top choice: Yale (EA)
Second choice: Northwestern
Third choice: Duke
The rest: Vanderbilt, Northeastern, UMich, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, WashU, UIUC, UTK

I've always been a wishy-washy person, so although I'd arranged these schools into a tiered list, truthfully, I had little preference (my list of colleges to apply to changed nearly on the daily during the last month of applications!). Because I hadn't yet discovered my passion, I didn't research any major-specific schools. So, I set my goals high, hoping that if I gained access to an elite university, I'd find my life's calling there somehow. It turns out you don't need to get into an Ivy League to have no regrets! In fact, due to this pandemic situation (in which I've been thriving), Northeastern's efforts in digitally connecting with prospecting students charmed me into depositing before I even received word from my waitlists. Ironically enough, I had applied to Northeastern on a whim; whilst typing "Northwestern" on CommonApp, I glanced over to Northeastern's search result and recalled the positive reviews my English teacher liked to share about her daughter's experience there. Upon reviewing the essay requirements, I just tacked it onto my list!

Of course, college reaction videos are more fun when they're successful, but I enjoyed compiling these clips, and I hoped to relive and share these special moments!
