0n a 10 yr bid after 23 months I got a letter from my attorney regarding my PCR that took forever felt like. In my mind I was going through the motion and preparing for appeal so the letter wasn't anything I was expecting it was just another piece of law mail. But when I opened it up and saw I was getting a new trial my heart dropped, within a month the Solicitor (just another way of saying district attorney in the southern state I was in) had sent an offer of 5 yrs with 85% my lawyer was excited but felt we could get better. Long story short I took next please time served I almost went to trial considering the offer but I couldn't afford it and my lawyer was iffy. I was dreaming of a lawsuit and all that would come but at the end I did the shit and the technicality was a blessing. Who knows what another trial would've done maybe bought up more shit, but in the end I was out in 27 months. Do you know how happy I was to be fully committed to at least 8 and a half and get this blessing? I didn't sleep for the whole week of my release I told no one about it at the prison. They probably thought I got shipped but it's a good feeling to be out sooner than expected

I was locked up almost 2 months ain't shit, but damn when everyone's moving on with life and your rotting there, it really hurts you, when I went to court and found out I was getting released, I got back to NVC In Las Vegas around 1pm , instead of crying, I slept , showered, got a haircut, and was gone by 930 pm on a bus to the county to get released
Shit I got out 30 days early cuz the prison got overcrowded so I was watching TV and the police came to the TV room and said pack up you going home and I'm like what who me? They said yea you you going home! I'm like shit you ain't gotta say it twice I'm gone! Gave all my homies my shit and I got ghost!
