A personal review.
The Direction of this series is very poor. It is a series, shown on Gagaoolala in uncut format, about male prostitutes and escorts working in a bar. The escorts are required to entertain and snuggle up to VIP women guests in the bar and ply them with drinks. Yet surprisingly all of the escorts are gay and are having sex with each other. Many of these men also attend the Faculty of Sports Science where they meet up with other gay male students who are also having sex with each other. There are 15 characters involved which makes it is hard to keep up with who is who and what side they are on. The storyline is centred around a man looking for his twin brother who has vanished and may have been murdered. In the background is a gangster villain, who is also gay and is probably involved in the murder. He also owns the Club.
It shows a lot of soft gay sexual activity in the form of implied masturbation, oral and penetrative sex. The parties are eventually stripped to the waist, but have their pants on whilst humping etc. They don’t show any nudity, even when actors are taking showers, they still wear their underpants.
There are too many scenes where the actor is left thinking for a prolonged amount of time with no dialogue (moving very slowly). Then there are far too many jumps from one part of the story to a completely unconnected part of story with different actors (moving very quickly).
The acting is mediocre to say the least, but I blame the Director for this.
The cinematography is very good, but the editing is poor.
The English subtitles often appear very quickly, and you would need to be a super speed reader to comprehend them before they vanish from the screen. Sometimes in conversations it is difficult to spot which actor is saying what because the Eng subs are out of phase with the spoken dialogue.
I have to place this review on RUclips because disappointingly, Gagaoolala do not have any facility for receiving constructive comments on their films. My comments are also taken down pretty quickly, so congratulations if you are able to read this.
