James you are a true pro. Your young marketing manager and advertising executive did a fantastic job. Isabella, this was a very informative vid. Love you little cutie. Be well. Be safe. Keep these great vids coming for the old folks like me who can't get up there anymore. Your vids bring back great memories of winter family fun during Christmas and March breaks up at our cottage in the 70's, 80's and 90's on Horseshoe Lake, Haliburton. Thank you so much. Please keep these great vids coming. So wonderful. So enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing all of these tips! Hopefully I’ll be able to do some ice fishing someday… you guys make it look like so much fun! I loved the underwater clips too!
Awesome video LB. Cracking whiting fish. Loving the jigging tips about bouncing just off bottom and keeping a tight line. Must tru👍. Iv had a few bass, whiting and plaice
Is 60 feet almost too deep to have a good survival rate? Not being rude just honestly would like more info on the subject, some don't realize just cause they swim away doesn't mean a minute later they float suffering from the benz.
Well technically, that doesn’t matter. So lakers and whitefish have a pneumatic duct connecting its swim bladder to its esophagus and mouth, so they can expel surplus air and avoid a hyper-extended swim bladder. Thats why you see lake trout burp. So both of these species are less susceptible to barotrauma and often why you see both of them swim right back down in the winter. I dont have any experience summer fishing whitefish, im sure the warm water affects them more then the depth.
Awesome video 👍🏼

Thanks for the video, still learning how to fish them myself
Glad you took something away from it! My catch and land ratio went way up after learning how to fish it properly!
That’s all good but what if you don’t have fancy sonars to know when the fish are around?
Happy to see you 👌
Great advice that I needed. Thanks.

How do iam can order meege fishing from you?
Did you say 4 feet of ice?
It takes a little time to figure them out, but once you have confidence with them, whitefish basically jump out of the hole… deadly!

Whitefish or lake trout?

@@LadyBass I knew the trout did that but wasn't aware that the white fish could. Thanks for the info.
