Hi guys, as always excellent objective reviews. We bought the family Super Trip on seeing your review which by the way is very robust and an outstanding family SUP that handles really well in the sea despite being mahoosive! Looking for another one now for my wife who is 60 kgs and wanting the option of putting our 6 year old on the front just for family playing around along with our other daughter and I on the Super Trip. For reference, we will be on the Solent and the Hamble river in "family" SUP conditions. So my dilemma is either the Magma or the Beast. I've watched your reviews so many times I'm procrastinating but I'm thinkng the Beast is the way to go.... As an aside, the pumps are all pretty rubbish and we've found an electric pump was the way forward (Hiks 20 psi pump) the paddles are perfect for beginners as is the leash and the folding magic backpack is actually a good, no frills bit of kit although we upgraded to a huge padded SUP backpack for longer walks in. Anyway, thanks in advance for any more advice.
Hey, Great to hear that you're having a good experience with the Super Trip already. I think you're right, the board you should be looking at now should probably be the beast. Just to give you that bit of extra stability, and the kids are only going to get bigger :-). Agree with you the pumps are very basic but I'm glad you found a good electric pump. Like we said in the reviews these boards are well priced to get you on the water and loving SUP. Thanks for your feedback and comments please keep them coming. Reuben
As a novice (2 years paddleboarding on various Ozark rivers and the FLA keys), I would NOT recommend this (although I thoroughly enjoy mine!) or any other sub 33" wide board to a beginner. I feel like a lot of beginners buy a board without knowing how much width affects side to side stability, buy a narrow board and then give up thinking it's too hard to stay up.
Hi guys thanks for your videos I'm from Brazil and very dificulty to find to nice reviews like yours.. I'm only concerned that in the official site of aqua marina they show the magma sup as 10,10" and 32" wide, and in the video you show 30" wide... Is that right?
Strange that this board is advertised to take a max of 145kg and the beast is advertised as max 140kg yet the videos seem to recommend the heavier person get the beast? I am 110kg and want a budget sup... What do I get? Love your channel it is helpful but the beast and magma videos have left me confused.
Hey Ashley , Thanks for your question, let me get back on this. The AQ boards could take the physical weight of paddlers (in voloume) that they recommend BUT it would be hard to use the board because of their overall width. For the larger riders we would really recommend going wider in width. 33"+ ,this will give you way more stability. In all our reviews we recommend what boards would be best for what person and sometimes this doesn’t mean the same as what the manufacturers say. Hope that makes sense? Thanks Reuben
@@SUPboardermag thank you for your reply. I think I understand. With limited budget and wanting an inflatable I think I only have a couple of choices (£350 budget). We have enjoyed a lot of your videos over the Christmas period i particularly enjoyed the 4 part Scottish locks one.
i guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Alberto Rogelio Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.

So is thinner or wider better? I dont know what sup to buy.

They are both right lol. In this video we are reviewing the 2018 Magma which is 30"wide. The newer 2019+ ones went 32" wide. I hope that helps Reuben
Was the action camera mount built into the board? Or did you have to stick/install the front camera mount yourself?
Them come on the board already.
Hello,
Thanks for the nice review but i have a question.
Is the paddle included?
Mine did not. This is a good thing! Go buy a higher quality one than the weak ones that would normally be included. Night and day difference!
thanks! can you do a review on the touring model Hyper too?
Yes we have a review of the Hyper coming soon.

@@AshleyKitto Great stuff. Just look for a board at 32" + WIDE. This will be great for many users. Like the AQ beast.
Which board would you recommend to a person weighing 95kgs in about the same price range?
You could look at the Aqua Marina Beast same price ruclips.net/video/so80KRxYqaM/видео.html or a Riber 335 ruclips.net/video/KTDZi_zWWWc/видео.html .
