Great video, love the Bible reading too. I enjoyed BBNP when I visited there 30 years ago. If you haven’t been to Guadalupe Mnts. NP, you should do it. Fantastic hiking.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Reading the Bible is a big part of my daily routine and keeps me grounded. This was my second trip to Big Bend. My first visit was too short, so I returned to spend a full week exploring the park. It was well worth the effort, especially with the Chisos Mountains set to close for two years starting in May 2025 for construction and improvements. I completely agree with your comments about Guadalupe Mountains National Park-the hiking there is exceptional! I visited last year, right after exploring Carlsbad Caverns National Park. I'm on a mission to visit all 63 National Parks and have made it to 32 so far. Thanks again for watching!

Nice video. Thanks. When we were younger, my wife and I , went to BB every winter for a week. Always stayed in The Cottages in Chisos Basin. Wonderful hiking, scenery, and solitude. Would like to hear how you like your Outback. We’re thinking about one as our next car.

Thank you for the kind words! It sounds like you and your wife have some incredible memories at Big Bend-I can imagine how special those stays at The Cottages in Chisos Basin must have been. The hiking and scenery there are truly one-of-a-kind.
As for the Outback, I’ve been really happy with it, especially the Wilderness trim. It handles so well on winding country roads and rougher terrain, making it a great fit for National Park adventures. The extra ground clearance and off-road features give me confidence in more remote areas, and it’s super comfortable for long road trips. If you’re considering one, I’d say it’s definitely worth a test drive-it strikes a nice balance between capability and comfort! Let me know if you have any specific questions about it.
