Blind Mississippi Morris

Blind Mississippi Morris is a delta-blues musician who performs in the clubs on Beale Street.
I learned of Morris after reading a story in The Commercial Appeal about the theft of his harmonicas. Then I heard him perform at an anniversary screening of Craig Brewer's film "The Poor & Hungry", where Mr. Brewer held a collection to help Morris replace his instruments.
Being in a city like Memphis with my camera, I knew I had to capture some authentic delta blues, and Blind Mississippi Morris was serving it up.

My wife and I were in Memphis this past November and I was lucky enough to play the harmonica up on stage with Morris. Very gracious man. Thank you sir....

Met this guy in Memphis back in July of this year. I'm just a 20 year old guy who's been playing harmonica for a year now. Morris was very humble, and very kind towards me. His wife is also very sweet. It was an honor meeting you Morris! Best of luck on your future endeavors!

Saw him at ground zero. My favorite musician! Awesome band too. Got a chance to hang out and talk to morris after. Super cool guy. Amazing live experience seeing him perform. I will never forget.
