Nice to see what it was like for those on the opposite side to where I was. What a show! Just pure awesome. Hope they come to the UK again soon as would love to see them again!
Out of 20,000 odd people, I happened to be sat next to the one person that would not just sit still and watch the show. I had flailing, pointing arms in the way of most of the concert during all the good bits of the songs. I've waited 20 years to see Tool after I missed the Lateralus gig as I had an exam the day after it. This guy ruined the entire experience for me. Thanks!!!
You have my every sympathy. The whole point of the show is to focus on it, sound and visuals, and if you do it’s a pretty bloody trippy experience (especially the first hour). Hopefully they come to the UK again soon and you get another chance. 🤞
@@micklemus132 Well yes, exactly. I am so angry about it and feel violated by him. There are rules at a Tool concert. I believe he was foreign, so didn't know them. Polish maybe. He was this meathead, obviously lifts weights as well, and had this really weird sharp pointy elbow, which I was looking at for most of the concert, to make sure it didn't go into my face, which almost happened. Wish I told his girlfriend to swap places with him when he left a couple of times for drinks. Really wish I did that. At the very end he apolgised to me, saying "sorry, but you're at a rock concert". Couldn't believe he said that. Fucking idiot. I want him to refund my ticket. Visions of his arms at that concert will be haunting me for life, seriously..
The amount of people when I was there (on the 10th) who were constantly up and down the stairs getting drinks was unreal. Absolute twats. Two guys in the row in front of me were obliterated by the end, one was struggling to get out of his seat when they left during ‘Invincible’. They’re taking themselves and those around them out of an immersive and pretty much cinematic experience.
A friend asked me if I wanted to and I thought “why not” but didn’t know much about the band before last night. Mind blown. I’ve never attended a gig like it. Fantastic band, incredible visuals (even better that you’re not allowed to film the main part of the show, to get people lost in the moment), amazing experience.
My Tool's second gig ever. As always - pro quality, pro musicanship, pro visuals. I'll be going to every Tool concert from now on :) PS: What camera did u use? quality of this footage is just superb.
