A decade or so ago when xrap just came out I had a full tackle box full of them with all the colors. Left it at a spot there in Devil's lake and came back for it but some Hmong dudes took it and denied it. They were the only ones there. Still hurts!
It ain't cause it's cold, it's cause you go there with a hundred of your friends every year all summer and over fish that lake. It's hard to catch any fish there anymore. It's ok though because it looks like someone is dumping sewage in the lake again anyway.

there’s a reason why game wardens set those high limits, it’s because these are extremely fast reproducing species of fish. you literally cannot out-fish these fish unless everyone is pulling quadruple overlimit and even then there will be a new population by the next year. with that logic you probably think hmoob people can kill all of the wild boar to extinction, yeah good luck with that

Agree…but ask the typical North Dakotan what they think of white bass…most will tell you they are junk fish…which makes it all that more rewarding for those of us who know the real deal. Nice video! Maybe see you there sometime. I live 50 miles away from DL
After millions of fish taken, devils lake still produce due to its large body of water, but anywhere else will be dead in a couple of years..people have enough fish in their freezer, need to learn to save for future generations to enjoy n still catch fish too. Limits need to go down to 10.
