I'm always hyped for a melee run! Some might think this run will be a breeze, but some enemies resist melee and Lethal Strike procs. Also, playthrough 2 will be tricky

I'm just happy for more BL1 I'mma be honest, the quest for Nemesis Invader is already my favorite series on the channel, followed by the quest for 94% sham, followed by launchers only Brick.

About the melee FoV thing at 1:45 I feel like it's supposed to be an immersion thing. Roland is doing more of a straight, flat slash. Brick is Brick. But to me it seems like Mordecai and Lilith are more leaning into their melees, with Mordecai needing to pull from his back and Lilith just going in.
I wish scooter didn't die in tales. He might be the character I miss most in bl3. Ellie isn't a replacement.
I recommended a pistols only Mordecai but this challenge looks even more fun and interesting

There is a severe, noticeable decline in the quality of borderlands games post Scooter’s death. The series was carried by Mikey Neumann all along.

Borderlands 2 is probably one of my top 10 favourite games ever, but Borderlands 1 does some stuff I like better, like with weapon hybrids for example. Love seeing the borderlands 1 playthroughs every now and then!

They need to bring melee weapons to the next borderlands.
Bandit- Axes
Torgue-Hammers that explode
Vladolf- Knives
Maliwan-elemental swords
Hyperion-spears because of accuracy and long range
Dahl- pickaxes
You could try some kind of collection goal to get all the unique weapons that always have blades, like what you do for the allegiance runs
(Unless those don't exist in BL1 like they do in BL2)
This is honestly such a fun run to do, this is the only melee only build that I've run through an entire playthrough. I am stoked to see Joltz do a playthrough.
If the DLCs had more fast travel stations, Truxican wrestler farming wouldnt be as unbearable...
There is a chest to the left on top of the building before you go through the gate. Sometimes you can get a weapon with a knife on it. I've had SMGs, snipers, pistols, it's completely random from what I can tell.
NO WAY IT WAS 2019 SINCE YOUR LAST MORDECAI RUN. it feels like it has been only half a year :(

As someone who has done melee only borderlands with brick, being able to shoot with cars is almost necessary.
You can suffer with punching cars, but… good lord.
I just posted this request for K6, and now I'm asking you. A quest reward only run. Any of the games, but for you most likely 2.
Bl1 playthroughs are not my favorite I'll try to watch them but I doubt it.
Prefer a Maya playthrough maybe Maliwan allegiance
I'm sure others have made this suggestion, what about bandit allegiance krieg for future playthrough?
I wish the episodes were 20 minutes long. 10-15 mins feels like 5 minutes.
I believe I saw a post on wiki that claims the reaper blade is bugged and only gives +100% melee damage, not sure if this is true but it would make the drop a lot more disappointing :/

I wonder what a melee only brick would be like tho, because Mordecai is kind of broken good with his melee but brick is the MELEE character.
Well, at least you won't have to get those extra skill points from Moxxi. Mordecai doesn't have enough skills that do anything in melee only to use any more skill points xD

So, it’s a guess, but the F.O.V thing for Melee might have something to do with the character models since Mordi and Lilith are the two thinner characters

Actually tried to play Borderlands 1 yesterday and god why does the movement feel so weird and slow in the first game.
Have you ever thought about going back to the Pre-Sequal? Even with mods?
Do you have the fire button unmapped so that you don't accidentally fire.

I didn’t know the remaster had a memory leak, I’ve racked hundreds of hours on the ps4 and pc versions and never had an issue.
The one mordecai build I havent tried. Also double legendary from same chest :o

Its technically no shooting run, cuz you use nades and ability to get kills. Good job tho.
I wonder what method of damage this playthrough will? Only time will tell.
