Hello Adam, top reaction with top comments. Many Thanks. Diana proves here that she's not a one-trick pony who only ever performs dark, deep, dramatic songs. She also has many happy feel-good songs in her repertoire. Especially when she was younger, she often performed songs that were more danceable and upbeat. I know people love Diana. She definitely has a unique voice, but to me... I don't know how to accurately describe it... but she always sounds "fuzzy". Like she's trying to sing with marbles in her mouth? Something like that. I don't think I'll ever be a fan.
@karehelene There is a physical reason she sounds like that. She resonates multiple harmonics as she sings, which is especially noticeable when she holds her lower notes. To a lot of people, like me, it creates chills or goosebumps in the listener. Hence her nickname, "Queen of Goosebumps". However, to some people those resonating harmonics make her voice sound processed or filtered. I'm guessing that you are in that second group. I wish you a fine day!

I know exactly what you mean Kare. I'm the same way. There seems to be a darkness around her. On the other hand, there is a lightness when listening to Daneliya, and for sure Angelina.
