I really like how they handled the difficult themes in this episode, because even if it was never stated... Terramar and Silverstream's parents are clearly divorced, and how that separation affects the children negatively.

As far as I see it Terramar and Silver Stream should convince there auntie Queen Novo to allow Twilight and her friends to all of them have one of those necklaces. That way they could go to underwater adventures. I believe Queen Novo is willing to forgive Twilight. And Twilight should make copies of the necklaces for the cutie mark crusaders, Starlight, Trixie, Maud, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Shining Armor, and for Zephyr Breeze. However I don't think Spike would like to be a puffer fish again. Twilight should bewitch Spike's necklace copy to transform him into a water dragon.So Sco If Pinkie had a necklace I think she would transform herself and the cake twins into sea ponies. Pound and Pumpkin would look adorable as sea ponies and Mrs Cake would say: - But Pinkie it's too early for them to learn to swim. If the Apple family would spend a weekend at the beach, Applejack and Apple Bloom would transform Big Mac and Granny Smith into sea ponies. Filthy Rich would find her wife very sexy as a sea pony, so he would ask Rarity to make swimsuits for Spoiled and Diamond.
