Actually, I think this is a smart move on your part. I never saw the advantage of dragging around extra equipment when you are on the road as much as you are.
I'm doing the research right now to switch from my dual sport Kawasaki to a VW based rail buggy. I would feel a whole lot safer with 4 wheels under me. I can't afford a fall living in a step van.
I am looking for a 5X8 trailer. But I need the barn door style. The lock hinges on the dropdown door look interchangeable with the barn door style. I will check into this before emailing you.
Full size eBike with fat tires and a big battery. That's my pitch to you Brian for a, sort of, replacement for your motorcycle. They're significantly lighter, good for 30 miles given rider input and conditions, you have the battery/power-system in your van to charge it, and you'd still have a measure of mobility independent of your box truck.
