When you get married to someone that is your new primary family. Your mom and your dad become second. So in this case the husband is defending his wife who is his primary family against being disrespected.

I acted like I didn't want a wedding party bc I felt bad for him bc I have a lot. Friends I've had all my life, friends from work, friends I've made since leaving my hometown. Now I c y. He has no sense of humor I'm always known as the funny one in the friend group, he thinks he's better than everyone. Me, my family, his coworkers etc. The only person he talks to his is mother who's more toxic and narcissistic than him. Yes this should definitely be a red flag. He told me he just doesn't like social media bc it's lame, but then I seen it's bc he just has no friends bc he's toxic
