@bondmachines I just found model ZZ2-B701A. Your video is helpful on threading and bobbin winding. Where might I find an owner's manual? Also, there are white plastic bobbins with the 701. Is it possible to use the metal bobbins? What size? Thank you.
Hello, Recently I bought Brother pacesetter xl711 from Goodwills. The machine is in working condition but the stitch selector is not smooth at all and some of the stitches are not working properly so I open the top and put oil to the cam and gears . Then stitch selector bar getting better and while I was moving and testing different stitches the motor and hand wheel get stuck and the needle bar is not moving anymore when I press the foot paddle. Any idea which area to check and debug the issue. Thank you.
Okay so many things can cause and the machine to be stiff firstly you need to look at the shuttle compartment,remove the shuttle and also the bobbin next you need to try and remove the needle and also disconnect the electric motor while use your hand to try and turn the wheel towards you.probably there's something that's hooking it either from the bottom/shuttle side or from the top/ needle bar .. okay but I would love you too send me a mail or rather do a short video and send me so I can see what's going on then I can guide you through alright bondempire@gmail.com

I dunno know the age ..but it's quite old,but not too old though
This machine was sold in the late 70’s/early 80’s. I’ve seen this since childhood and it works flawlessly even today

Use the top dial to turn the regular zigzag, then the down lever to zero
