You can use the button besides the scroll wheel to switch between its functions. Which one is active is indicated to the left of the numblock. In the Custom setting of the scroll wheel you can also deticate an action to klicking the scrollwheel itself
11:32 you can switch between profiles on the keyboard and then use the nob to control light brightness. So the default is volume, then, i dont remember what key press combination you can use to switch profiles and to use the nob for lighting dimming, or skipping tracks of music etc. I am purchasing by this weekend so, I'll be able to know for SURE.
20:45 think this answers what i said earlier. the new receiver is a new technology, so i dont think it will pair with older ASUS/ROG tech, just newer ones using that technology which can pair two devices on the one receiver.
11:50 i think it is that button beside the nob. by default the lighting around the nob is synced with the lights with the rest of keyboard. but u can change it to indicate battery level/status. so while the RGB of the rest of the keyboard is synced, that button will only indicate the battery level. I dont know in what way but I assume green is 80-100, blue for mid range and red for low battery level.
23:50 if you want clicky then get the STORM switches. They been shipping the SNOW switches for testing/reviews, not sure why it's the only one I have seen being tested. I thought it was because they are all out gamers, but you are tech in general, so maybe you should have been shipped the STORM switches.
Thanks for the video and the test. I don't get the option "Advanced Effects" to create my own profile with static lighting in my Armoury Crate software with Aura Creator while Aura Creator is already installed. Could you maybe export and share your static lighting profile? I saw there is an import option for profiles in .rog-format. That would be nice. :)
I unfortunately dont have this keyboard anymore had to return if to its owner after the review. thats odd about effects. i dont know why it wouldnt be there.
I love the Azoth. in the same formfactor then the Razer v4 in 96 keyboards: tie between the Nuphy Halo 96 and the Scope. for my gaming use the more compact Azoth is best, but if needed more versatility for work and play i would get a 96
18:50 you can connect 2 devices via the 2.4GHz dongle with the Scope II 96. However, I am the moment dont know if it has to ASUS compatible products or any. Well I think it's only ASUS compatible products as it is a specific technology I think they created/introduced for their products. Not sure. I used to want pass through, but with bluetooth I really dont see the point and I can use the one usb c to charge both keyboard and mouse.
I just got this and like you am very impressed. It looks gorgeous and its not even a full-sized keyboard. It has a sturdy and hefty feel which makes it seemed like a 'serious' keyboard.
I'm liking it so far. Takes a little getting used to. But I think that after I do get used to it. The keyboard will be awesome. I wish that it had a home key. But that's easy enough to remap. I did a typing test on it and almost got 60wpm. Certainly feels nice to type on.
@@computer-tech-more Thank you for the quick reply, I didnt find it too dim out of the box, but side to side was glaring, like i said quarter of the brightness.
What switches do you have on the azoth? They dont sound like the NX Snow so it isn't an apples to apples comparison. My Azoth doesn't sound like that at all with the NX Snow switches.
This might come off as a DUH question but, can you specifically turn of the big rog buttons light / does it turn of completely if i just select the sync with other keys and turn them off. I want no rgb at all and that big button glowing all day long would ruin my movie nights in front of my pc monitor.

@@costantineyoussif6679I think mice are very personal choice. Logitech G502X and my Razer were my favorites. I didnt like the the others I reviewed on my channel as much. Great pragmatic review and answered my questions about my use case (mostly typing and light gaming). Still no white version for Scope and sound and quality seem better out of the box on the Azoth so will go for that.
Personally i like the switches in the Azoth better (tactile) but ya the Scope is in the top 2 favorite 96% keyboards for me. Glad the review was helpful.
ARE THE LIGHTS SYNCHRONIZED WITH THE REST OF THE COMPONENTS EVEN IN WIRELESS MODE?, No video with a review of this keyboard tells me that information, I already searched all over the internet
@@computer-tech-more I don't care about light controls. The ROG charger dock has a USB port. So the keyboard and ROG Harpe should connect to each other, correct? I shouldn't need software?
@@SuperBROKEN81 so since everything is ROG and you have armory create already you wont need more software. But yes plugging into the dock will power this keyboard. I dont know if it will make you use 2 wireless dongles though. I should work with just one but I dont know.
Not much difference between 96% and 100% so I see no special need for 96%. However a 70% or tenkeyless keyboard makes great sense for its significantly compact size.
from the keyboards i have seen and tested out. TKL is 75% size of a full size for 75% of the keys. 96% is 80% of full size for 96%? of the keys. 75% keyboards are 60% the size of Fullsize with ~75% the keys. so it compactness while giving you full functionality. But to each their own. I just happen to like 75% and 96% keyboards best.
Tried 75 with the Azoth. Hated it. Missed the arrow keys, and couldnt type at all. Got this keyboard, almost the size of a TKL with the functionality of a full size keyboard. SO much better. The switches are also way way better.
@@padcontrol1 i think you meant number pad. but agree my 2 favorite 96% are the nuphy halo and this ROG Scope. Overall I am happy with the Azoth. at times miss the numb pad.

yes. using the software it will be synced up with all the ROG / lighting you setup in the system. works both wired and wirelessly.
I like that they got rid of the useless keys above the arrows and kept the num pad. This layout should be more common
