I had a set of those blacked out OEM headlights on my '06 Denali, but they were absolute junk. I couldn't adjust the headlights hardly at all, and the mechanism would just strip out if you tried to adjust them. Loved the look though on yours. Thanks for sharing!

As long as you get the right size snd ones that are hubcentric, you have nothing to worry about. And any brand as long as they tell you what kind of metal they use. Make sure its a good quality metal

Doing some work on my GMC as well. You should replace the gas cover with a locking one and hood vents. These models have problems with over heating when its hot out. What i did to mine was i added cooling fans to the radiator and lifted the rear of the hood and it most definitely cools down the engine bay. I mainly spaced the hood till i install the vents myself.

I have an 06 envoy and put dual exhaust mod, but I like that additional brake strip in the back. How did you install? Did it impede the back from opening and closing?
Dual exhaust sounds awesome! The back opens and closes fine. The only thing I didnt like is that it sort of, a little, blocks the top of the bar. For installing, it comes with an adhesive strip on the back, but for mine, it didnt stick so I had to use zip ties 🤣 for the wires, I ran it through the driver brake light, and connected the plug into the back of my towing outlet with an adapter so it hides the wires, I believe I left all the products in the description

No issues at all, they've been amazing. I got 2" hub centric ones that were actually good quality ones, you really dont want to go cheap on them. But yeah man, they've been solid, its like they're not even on there.
Yeah man especially around 5k. Like when you floor it, you see it climbing rpms and then at around 5k you feel a kick. Its awesome Edit: oh and the sound it makes is just amazing
One thing that I highly recommend is to get the sway bar end links from suspensionmaxx. They're SO much stronger than the OEM ones and really help with stiffening up handling. Definitely give it a try!
Had two questions: How did you secure front wheels from moving as you torqued the wheel spacers? And were you able to unsnap the grille clips when inserting that Denali style grille?
I used a screwdriver inside the rotor lol and to take off the grill yeah, it was easy to just unclip them. For the new grill it bolts into the oem grill
@@theupscale7130 LOL! Yeah, I put in one too long and snapped the ABS Sensor and have to replace it! Afraid of breaking the clips to get behind the high-quality plastic stock grille!
Hate to bug, but the link for the spacers is no longer. Do you have a manufacturer's part number? Sounds like you haven't had any issues with a rough ride or wheel bearings wearing out so would be interested in which ones you've had luck with!
Honestly just any 6x127 HUBCENTRIC wheel spacers that aren't made with super cheap metal. I remember mine was made from all solid metal materials. And make sure they're not like $20 for 4. Something crazy cheap like that, of course will be a risk. I think mine i bought were like $100 -$120. I have had 0 issues these. Just make sure you have them properly torqued down and you'll be good 👍

Hey no problem. Honestly I didnt notice any loss when I did it. Honestly it would be pretty safe to say I gained some. It has a HUGE 3 foot muffler in the middle and that big ugly trash can looking resonator in the rear which makes even more restriction. For the set up, it's literally just a cat back straight. I first started with the resonator being cut off. It had made a small, but noticeable difference with sound. But mainly thats for looks. Then i had the oem muffler swapped for a flowmaster super 44, which honestly was perfect. Then after a while, i had that cut off and had a pipe welded in its place. Actually just recently i gutted the entire inside of the envoy and added sound deadening mats and a brand new thicker, plusher carpet than the old carpet. And honestly, now, when i have all the windows closed, its scary how quiet it is inside. But when the windows are open you definitely hear the beautiful i6 sound

The denali came with a 5.3L V8. I have one. Honestly, unless you are towing/hauling you can do everything you need to do with the I6. There is like a 9hp difference and a decent MPG penalty.
Those specific ones were off Amazon. You need sizes 9005 & 9006 for high and low beams :) I like the cougar motors specifically but any brand will work
I just bought a 2004 GMC Envoy wi/75k.. I got it for a good price (I think) and the only reason I jumped on it is because it’s in such immaculate shape. It’s an absolutely good condition and I know these 4.2L V6 cuz i’ve had a few trailblazers with the vortek engines… I know they’re reliable and easy to work on and basically anything GM and Chevy are the same. My question is does anyone have any recommendations for me to upgrade from stock? It’s the XL, not the Denali version.. wanna do a air intake like he did and maybe new grill, fender flares, 2” spacers if they fit and anything else I can do to get some extra kick outta the motor haha
I have a few more videos on mods i did to the envoy, I'd suggest checking them out! The main two that really made a huge difference were removing the mechanical fan clutch for an electric fan kit, and a pcm tune. Bothel were from PCMofNC.
My envoy is giving me so much hell right now it seems to fall on itself or stays at the same speed just rpm goes up then stays there , but when I ease in to the throttle it gets going above 45 ? Any ideas
That sounds like a transmission problem. When was the fluid last changed? Is it too low or overfilled? I threw a bottle of lucas trans slip fix in and it made a huge difference.

I have a 77 series k&n intake, and I removed the muffler and resonator. Tires are 245/65 r17 Michelin defender ltx m/s. No lift, just 2" wheel spacers to make the tires stick out
Every how to video I see shows that the leds won’t fit with the boot covering the original halogen bulbs , I want to upgrade to leds but not sure how to make it all fit. Could you recommend a solution? Thanks.
That was a little plate i just lay over the oem grill. It has long bolts and a T end that hooks into the grills going across. I actually still have it, for some reason lol
At the time I removed my running boards and back seats to see if there would be a difference because of the weight reduction, but I put both of them back on :P
Nice. Plenty of room for a lit sound system and led lights inside without seats. Definitely keep running boards and roof rack. Cheap 22s would be dope on it too. Wishful thinking lol

I'm doing a ls swap in my o9 denali.. only has 35000 miles. Some old lady drove it around the u.s without changing the oil. Can't wait till it's done.

Yeah these are basically the same thing. Instead of the little white torqes bit on top, i used a socket to adjust them from behind :P

It isn't that common for them to over heating when hot out. You have other issues. I live in the desert and don't have issues.

I have a white envoy, I really love mine. Have you ever had any problem with front end body roll.

I didnt do a thorough test but i seen with my scan tool (blue driver) the iat dropped 20 degrees
