If you compare aomine and akashi on the basis of their matches against kagami then you are wrong. Akashi had his so called emperor eye,mayuzumi and the uncrowned kings on the other hand a lazy and yawning aomine literally overpowered the whole team. If we compare seirin and rakuzan they were equal but seirin and aomine were not equal aomine easily overpowered them. Aomine without practice nearly destroyed seirin on his own his opponents were the heroic duo and a uncdowned king. Kiyoshi even after triple teaming aomine with the duo was not able to stop him adn also praised him but he did not say the same about akashi. Aomine has more experience(see the flashbacks),more strength,more speed(even the writers said that aomine is the fastest),more accurate(no matter how distracted aomine is he never misses).
