This is a fun fact you may or may not know ( Scotland and Ireland are the homeland for the best Wiskey in the world) with that being said there is a phrase for what happens to the expensive barrels that age for many many years. They are super tight with no air getting in, yet there is always a tiny bit missing! Its a mystery how that happens! Its called the " Angels Share" because the angels took their share of the heavenly liquid inside! I have always wondered that the barrel like shape of the bottle is not by accident! It also has that warm feeling that Wiskey gives without a whiskey note! I just love it! Some Scottish history for you and an aptly named warm lovely perfume!!! xx

This is fascinating, thank you! There is a scientific explanation... wooden barrels are not airtight, they are porous surfaces. So it's just evaporation. But it's really cool lore nonetheless!
Back in the year 2000, i was a 19 year old. I was at work and a lady i worked with walked past me, and i was in awe. Her perfume was the best perfume i had ever smelled, and i grew up using perfume from a young age. I asked her, and she said "its new, it just hit the stores yesterday, its called givenchy hot couture". I went straight to the store after work, bought it, and it has been my daily scent for the last 25 years. Lol Its so good and im obsessed. I do have other perfumes i wear, like Alien and Good Girl also.

Jimmy Choo Illicit was so weak at first for me too, I almost decluttered it because I could hardly smell a thing, but now that it has sat for almost 3 years it has got so much stronger.... so ladies please believe it when you hear that perfumes get better with time and maceration is 100% real
Something similar happened to me with Good Girl Légère. When I first got it as a gift, it lasted for only about 3 hours on me, and two years later it stays on me for the entire day and I can still smell it in the morning of the next day! So true. I learned to let my fragrances macerate for at least a year before I decide if I will declutter or leave them in my collection.

My Autumn favourite's are Hugo Boss Alive EDP, so underrated, it's Apple, Cinnamon, Plum, Vanilla and Woods, and is soooo good!
I reckon if it was in a Dior or niche bottle it would sell way more, but is a hidden gem just cos it's Hugo Boss.

I love wearing my Bare Vanilla and body mists and perfumes of similar scent profile (Definition by Christina Aguilera and Vanilla Touch by La Rive are some of them). Everything cozy, really. Sweet Tooth by Sabrina Carpenter, Macaron Amande by Jeanne Arthes, Byzantium by Tesori d'Oriente (such an underrated cheapie but a goodie fragrance), Olympéa (I just love wearing it in colder weather). Cloud is so perfect for rainy, cold days. When it comes to my signature scent for fall/winter, it would definitely be Good Girl Légère. 🍁🍂✨
Congratulations 🎊🎉 and also being a Vanilla scent girl too, I bought Ilish #1 a couple weeks ago and wore it when it was hot outside, thought it smelled funny was going to take it back. This morning getting ready for work it was in the ‘60s so I sprayed a little on and wow! It smelled like a completely different scent it was amazing so glad I kept it! People was asking me what I was wearing and that they really liked it!

🏹 this year my perfume wardrobe has expanded 100 times over lol that’s thanks to all you fantastic RUclipsrs that I have found I am looking forward to finding some fall gems. I loved all the summer spring stuff that I have found. I do like a good woody, vanilla flowery perfume I just ordered the philosophy one you mentioned. I am looking forward to wearing cedar Violet by Aerin and maybe mixing it with some other perfumes also the woods I would’ve never found so many of these perfumes without all of you wonderful ladies that I get to listen to
My favorite fall fragrance is Burberry Goddess mixed with Kayali vanilla 28 mixed with BBW cozy vanilla bourbon. I’ll also use BBW Midnight Amber glow body cream 🤎🤎 this last on my clothes for so long it’s still there at the end of the week when it’s time to wash my clothes.

Idk if someone already suggested for the atomizer. One of my perfumes got stuck or something. So I took off the metal push down part and put another similar one from another perfume. Sprayed out and it worked fine. So I switched back to the original one and it’s working now! Love Black Opium LP. Definitely will be my October scent!

I finally went to a Sephora in Dubai, as I think we have a Sephora but no fragrances where I live, tried the Sol de Janeiro body mist. Unfortunately, they disappeared in a few minutes. Bath and body works lasted more on my skin.
