Don't know where from you got this information. All the above mentioned states unanimously opted to join Pakistan. Though Hindu- Muslim exchange between the two countries happened but no Pakistani state was annexed. Additionally, whatever the reason, India did use force and military to annex Hyderabad. In this operation hundreds were killed. Even Wikipedia mentions it was annexed not acceded.

The Pandits were killed by terrorists trained and armed by Pakistan. At that time the local population did not support terrorists in large numbers as today. Over years due to the widespread spread of Internet and Social Mediia the support to the terrorists organization has increased. Actually the terrorism had decreased considerably and tourists were once again swarming Kashmir IN Late 1990s and early 2000. This all came to a stop when Burhan wahini became more popular due to shrewd use of social media. The population who were receptive to extreme Islamic ideology became even more receptive to extremist ideology when Burhan Wahini was killed.
He is partially right. It is true that Patel was ready to exchange Hyderabad for Kashmir, though Kashmir was mostly handled by Nehru. Hyderabad first appealed to UN. As a result package deal, plebiscite in Hyderabad, Junagadh and Kashmir, was proposed by India to UN. Mount Batten proposed this to Jinnah with out consulting Patel and Nehru, and stated so to Jinnah. Jinnah didn't want that because he knew Pakistan will loose all three. India proposed it to UN anyway. Nehru's mistake was not to hold plebiscite immediately after the cease fire; Jammu Kashmir would have opted for India in 1951 if choice was between India and Pakistan.
Instrument of Accession was the same draft for all 580 princely State. Anyone can get it in National Archives in New Delhi even in Google. Signed by Maharaza Hari Sing and Lord Mountbatten In Instrument Of Accession there was no special provision for any princely state even for Jammu and Kashmir. 370 has the another history it had been included without any debate in perlament as a temporary and transitional as a gift for Sheikh Abdullah from Neheru. Please Mr Historian you need to be mre educated on this issue until don't deliver it in wrongly.

I have some questions/comments for highly learned Mr Raghvan. Since ages the Kashmiri Pandits were forced to convert to Muslims. It is this ethnic cleansing that has led to various catastrophiies Mr Raghwan has touched upon. Sheikh was keen on Agrarian reforms because most of the lands were owned by Hindu Rajas. Secondly, election rigging doesn't lead to militancy & insurgency. And bye the way who did election rigging? It was done by local political parties. Do we have any other example in India where rigging led to militancy & insurgency. No. This militancy with the help of Pak happened to convert Kashmir into Islamic State by forcing others out of Kashmir. And Article 370 & 35A was perfectly used to ensure this.

Let me tell you something being an indian you should infact vouch for kashmir to integrate into india looking at a strategic point of view for the army.
Anyway let’s keep that aside, let me clear a difference for you with regards to kashmir and Junagadh. See Junagadh was ruled by a muslim ruler and the population was hindu, even if the population was muslim it still should be with india. Reason being that historically speaking and culturally speaking it was not an islamic land or area. So to show respect and be liberal in a true sense it would only be logical
to let the muslim population of course stay with dignity but also not let the hindu land go to an islamic state which doesn’t not treat other minorities has how india has so far.
Now with kashmir, to understand the kashmir issue i cannot start with UN resolutions and petty politics behind it. The raja was hindu and praja majority was muslim but if you look at the history of Kashmir and how it became majority muslim and what it went through and how a hindu raja took over it you wouldn’t be questioning if kashmir should be part of india or pakistan or even independent.
There is a 31%. percent population of non muslims in the state of Jammu and kashmir so you will also have to think about them and not only the muslims.
So it’s up to you to decide and ask yourself a question, would the muslims of kashmir be at risk with india yes or no
And if kashmir decides to be independent or go to pakistan will the other minorities be safe and free to practice their religion.
We may have different opinion but we need through discussion on every sensetive issue.

A few other points worth noting are, the Indian Govt had sent troops to Junagadh and Hyderabad to force them to accede to the Indian Union, seeing this Pakistan too reacted in a similar manner by sending its troops to Kashmir.
Raja Hari Singh acceded to the Indian Union with the condition that anything that had to be done in Kashmir could only be done with the consent of the people of Kashmir, i.e only afte holding of a plediscite

Don't know where from you got this information. All the above mentioned states unanimously opted to join Pakistan. Though Hindu- Muslim exchange between the two countries happened but no Pakistani state was annexed.
Additionally, whatever the reason, India did use force and military to annex Hyderabad. In this operation hundreds were killed. Even Wikipedia mentions it was annexed not acceded.

The Pandits were killed by terrorists trained and armed by Pakistan. At that time the local population did not support terrorists in large numbers as today.

Mediia the support to the terrorists organization has increased. Actually the terrorism had decreased considerably and tourists were once again swarming Kashmir IN Late 1990s and early 2000.
This all came to a stop when Burhan wahini became more popular due to shrewd use of social media. The population who were receptive to extreme Islamic ideology became even more receptive to extremist ideology when Burhan Wahini was killed.

He is partially right. It is true that Patel was ready to exchange Hyderabad for Kashmir, though Kashmir was mostly handled by Nehru. Hyderabad first appealed to UN. As a result package deal, plebiscite in Hyderabad, Junagadh and Kashmir, was proposed by India to UN. Mount Batten proposed this to Jinnah with out consulting Patel and Nehru, and stated so to Jinnah. Jinnah didn't want that because he knew Pakistan will loose all three. India proposed it to UN anyway. Nehru's mistake was not to hold plebiscite immediately after the cease fire; Jammu Kashmir would have opted for India in 1951 if choice was between India and Pakistan.
Instrument of Accession was the same draft for all 580 princely State. Anyone can get it in National Archives in New Delhi even in Google. Signed by Maharaza Hari Sing and Lord Mountbatten In Instrument Of Accession there was no special provision for any princely state even for Jammu and Kashmir. 370 has the another history it had been included without any debate in perlament as a temporary and transitional as a gift for Sheikh Abdullah from Neheru. Please Mr Historian you need to be mre educated on this issue until don't deliver it in wrongly.

I have some questions/comments for highly learned Mr Raghvan. Since ages the Kashmiri Pandits were forced to convert to Muslims. It is this ethnic cleansing that has led to various catastrophiies Mr Raghwan has touched upon. Sheikh was keen on Agrarian reforms because most of the lands were owned by Hindu Rajas. Secondly, election rigging doesn't lead to militancy & insurgency. And bye the way who did election rigging? It was done by local political parties. Do we have any other example in India where rigging led to militancy & insurgency. No. This militancy with the help of Pak happened to convert Kashmir into Islamic State by forcing others out of Kashmir.
And Article 370 & 35A was perfectly used to ensure this.

Article 370 was also one of the ways to ensure so called plebiscite be held but none of 3 rules that that to be followed before plebiscite were never abided, moreover now ppl in other parts of Pakistan also live in POK,after 2 generation there is not possible to to plebiscite as demography and original inhabitants of POK have changed,so remove 370 or not by now plebiscite is never going to happen

This guy clearly mentioned that instrument of accession was only for foreign affairs , defense and communication. This is factually incorrect, let him deny this. Instrument of accession was for total accession and not give any special powers to the rulers of erstwhile states.
