Well said, Bishop. As a retired Army Chaplain and I have seen the degradation of the Nation, Church, and Society. Rather than becoming frustrated, depressed, and despondent; I can be strong in my faith in Jesus Christ, a good provider for my family, and reliable witness to my friends and extended family members.

Seven years ago, God moved me to buy a bicycle. I did a lot of shopping in bike shops, research online and praying. I ended up picking a steel framed touring bike outfitted with bags that allow me to carry up to 150 lbs of stuff with me on this bike. It had a 2000 dollar price tag and wasn’t sure how God was going to get me the money, but He provided in the end and I’ve been riding this bike ever since. What Bishop is saying here is absolutely true. Please prepare, things are about to get rough.

Thank you Bishop Strickland & Doug for this helpful talk.❤🙏 I live in Florida and was fortunate that I only lost electricity for one day. However I live 40miles from the nearest city. Thank you for this Bishop Strickland and Doug. In my own experience, when I felt called many years ago to Be Prepared, it felt a bit too nebulous. It was when I started putting words after that, when I started being actually able to wrap my head around concrete things I needed to do. For example, be prepared for the power being out for X amount of time. Be prepared for no potable water available for an extended amount of time. Be prepared for empty grocery store shelves for an extended amount of time. By taking each of these to it's fullest extent, I've been able to secure a clean water source, ongoing power generation both solar and fire generated, wood fire based cooking, including all kitchen capabilities, and food production designed for year round supply. My point is that it may be helpful to help people with preparing, by giving the potential scenarios they should actually be prepared for. Will we get it all right? Of course not, but it helps, I have found, give concrete steps to take to make preparedness progress.

I never understood that, when they closed the churches. We needed God more than ever for his assurance at that time. It was as if you did not believe in the power of God. How are people to believe otherwise? I believe, always have and always will, but I no longer trust the church.

I'm reading a book called The Road. It's a fictional story of what the world would be like after a global tragedy. Boy, it gives you an understanding of how terrible that would be. Yikes.
Great discussion, and great guidance. I completely agree with Bishop Strickland that it is prudent to take at least simple steps to cover the basics for emergency preparedness . . . which can be done without a massive financial investment. If you're looking for some tips to get started that won't break the bank, and are addressing the issue form the perspective of a Catholic family, you might find some of my videos helpful: ruclips.net/p/PLTENpQejCU5SuHsPYDgOIDwH0XVWQ0_rr
Dear Bishop Strickland, always so good listening to you. However, at your blessing which is greatly appreciated, where you kept your hand raised while praying, I was reminded of those flamboyant, dramatic, shouting Protestant pastors who raise their hand similarly and repeatedly while giving so called "sermons". I've seen another Novus Ordo Catholic Priest using many more Protestant styles while giving sermons to Catholics. I find this saddening and to me detracting. Apologies, I could be suffering with scrupulosity. I know the blessing wasn't affected by such a thing. Our beautiful Catholic faith has been so diluted and tainted. God bless you.
I agree with you, as a mother of small children, it causes so much anxiety and fear. How is possible to save food for a month for people in small houses? Or buy a generator? God is merciful.

Dear Bishop
Christ Himself said those who belong to the truth hear my voice
I fear that those who have given themselves over to lies, will never be able to open their eyes and see the truth
So, like the Jews, a veil has fallen over them until it’s removed by God they will not open their eyes and see
🙏🏻💙🙏🏾💙🙏🏽 Peter Sonski is a devout Catholic known for his family values and hes running for President. Hes a viable candidate please search on his name. Hes a write in on the ballot in most states
Its a wasted vote! And could be detrimental in a close election
All the people know about Jesus Christ is what man is told him
If we are looking at the Three Days of Darkness, we will have our own goods as well as the goods of the unrepentant wicked people who will be gone.
Not if a catastrophe wipes out much- like in Noah’s day.. but with purifying fire instead of water.
What in The Universe is supposed to happen tomorrow? Six month stash would not have helped many people in the last two storms.... I left the SDA church due to the constant, never-ending, fear-mongering, nightmare-inducing, negative, scare the ever-lovin' chit outta you. If The Big One Drops, put me under Ground Zero. No Zombie-Apocalypse crap for me ~ See you on The Other Side ~ Blessed Be ~~
Yeah, what are they talking about? What's supposed to happen?
What is the SDA church?
Google It - It comes right up front and center.
I never understood that, when they closed the churches. We needed God more than ever for his assurance at that time. It was as if you did not believe in the power of God. How are people to believe otherwise?
I believe, always have and always will, but I no longer trust the church.
Trust in the Church, don’t let anyone rob you of Jesus .
We have the greatest blessings of receiving the Sacraments!
Ugh. Where was the Holy Spirit when all this was coming down, and he decided to also close the churches?! The church I belong to, they weren't closed not even for a moment! 🙏🏻 For him and all those that have missed moments to attain grace!
The church doesn’t say much about issues, or what’s happening in the Uk in the church. Are priests muzzled too?
I'm reading a book called The Road. It's a fictional story of what the world would be like after a global tragedy. Boy, it gives you an understanding of how terrible that would be. Yikes.
I have no food till friday. I have pancakes
Yes, Jesus forgive me I am poor, confession I love (it lightens the loud on my scale) church and Harvest Festival this week!! Yay
Load not loud

Read your Bible and repent. God wants us back.
