I am a nursing student at Marian University, your lectures have helped me tremendously in my Pathophysiology class. Thank you so much for doing these lectures and making them available to people like me.
I am a medical student who had a lot of social and health issues in my pre-clinical years, so was very behind when it came to "first principles". Your videos are really helpful in building my scientific foundation from scratch! Thank you :)
Is it fair to say that if the body makes certain B-cells (by cloning) the total number of B-cells increases? And if another antigen comes by that doesn't fit, it will take longer time before he finds the right fitting B-cell as there are a lot more of them? Thinking of the coronavaccin..
Hi, is it true that the vaccine for cv19, is a shot or shots of specific antibodies, which means that these specific vaccine antibodies only will tackle and kill specific variants of viruses, versus our natural non specific antibodies which tackle and kill all variants of viruses that come inside our bodies. . Which would mean that, the vaccinations could be very harmful to people getting them? Thanks for your response in advance.
Hey guys I'm doing this for a report at university, are the antigens recognised in the bone marrow after presentation by the dendritic cells (which are differentiated monocytes) from the site of infection?
I feel like I have my own private tutor....the Dr. rocks!!
