Lucario is the best character in the game to me. I only pocket him, but his overall stats just feel so strong
Spyro Fury That partly has to do with his Aura mechanic, which increases the power output and efficiency of his attacks. That being said, you've still gotta play carefully, as that means in order to rack up some serious damage, you need to suffer it.
People complain about Cloud Finishing Touch when Lucario Bair with a bunch of aura, not even full, kills midstage at 49%
You should be fishing for kills once Lucario gets to 100%~. Don't tack on useless damage and play safe to try to set up for a kill.

That Mega-Man down-air vs Lucario up-air has happened to me. We were both at crazy high percents and on our last stocks, with less than 30 seconds left in the game. We both hit the blast zones at about the same time, but I won. I was the Lucario.
Pureeey Lucario is the same voice as Goku which makes it even more like DBZ.

To people saying that the 9 was bs remember that the stage fucked him over in the first place.

In the end these all come down to physics, since whoever ending up hitting with the most force will wind. Or speed too, since the length of Cloud's blade-beam is what made him lose.
Greater damage causes more hitlag, so in very tight situations (both very close to the blast zone), the weaker hit could kill first. Check how ZSS starts flying a lot later than G&W in #1.

Nobody is really sure, but it kinda has to do with the speed and direction with which you fly to the upper blast zone. In my anecdotal analysis, if you barely get there (when you've already lost most of your vertical speed), you don't get a Star KO.
