I kept watching Ryan Hall on RUclips to see where the hurricane was & it looked like y’all was safe! We’ve had nonstop rain & wind for two days straight from the hurricane. There’s a lot of flooding in Kentucky too but I haven’t heard that it has been real bad. Hi Finn, I always miss you when I don’t see you. I don’t understand tech stuff, I’m technologically challenged! The girls are so adorable & the love is between y’all is so evident! Sending prayers, love & hugs!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🐾

I’m in Tampa and our beaches got absolutely ravaged! The storm was 140 miles off our coast and we still had so much storm surge. So incredibly sad to watch. Thankfully I’m about 20 miles inland and had no damage. The people of Florida are resilient and will rebuild. Just very heartbreaking to see 😢

We lost 2 people in our community and police officers were injured. Flooding, trees down, and still no power for days. I feel blessed though that my loved ones are still here. I pray for those that have lost so much. It’s been devastating.
Hey from ky this is the first hurricane to travel all the way here we’ve been without power since yesterday and won’t have it back on till 11pm Monday the damage everywhere in the states is absolutely heartbreaking

I was thinking that I believe that the lord brought your sister and her family to you both so that way you can enjoy your sisters kids, sense you are not able to have kids. Hope I didn’t hurt you on what I said because I don’t want you to take it in offensive. It’s a blessing that the lord had done that.

Before I begin, I must make it clear I’m not downplaying the devastation of Helene. It may sound like that AT FIRST, but stick with me yall. It’s wild when you compare this storm to Ian. It’s.. not comparable. Ian was SOOOOO much more of a monster storm. People were going nuts because Helene would be bringing them 60-80mph winds. Ian was 168mph winds sustained over like a whole day it seemed because of how slow moving it was. This storm was really fast. Didn’t linger like Ian. When you compare the sustained winds, and wind gusts… it’s no match to Ian. …however…. We see so much catastrophic damage. And that alone should be the biggest indicator to people that it is NOT THE WIND you need to worry about in a hurricane. A storm can be so much smaller, so much faster or slower, or have such less wind gusts and sustained wind…and still be just city destroying. The winds were 60-80mph in most places but yet we see the same devastation as Ian. Not because the wind was bad at those gusts/sustained rates…….but because of storm surge and flooding. Storm surge and flooding is the real monster, and you can have catastrophic flooding with a cat 1 or tropical storm. This is why if anyone is ever told to leave…LEAVE. Your home may withstand 200+mph winds, it will, be no match to even twelve foot or less storm surge. 8-9 feet of storm surge will destroy homes. 4-7 foot storm surges will destroy and wash away homes. Mere feet…can and will destroy homes. Fort Myers beach was 14 foot. Very high but nowhere near as high as it can to. And it was over homes and devastated the entire island. That wasn’t the wind… that was the storm surge..
The Federal Government should sell the state of Florida off to the Saudis and use those funds to reduce the national debt.
