I think OG Bleach could have been better too. The many fillers, pacing issues, censorship definitely hurt the anime adaptation. TYBW adaptation is wonderful so far!
Now we have it as a seasonal anime, with high quality animation, art, wonderful soundtrack, great pacing, excellent voice acting, can't really say anything bad about it. Yeah, I know they cut out some manga content and some explanations (actually NOT, they are still there as Japanese texts at the commercial breaks without English translation).
Very happy with Bleach right now. It was always one of my favourites even with all of its silly flaws.

This fight scene, along with the excpetional OST by Shiro Sagitsu, was dark, wild and beautiful. There was a poetry in their movements, in the way they clashed swords. A wild fight for a beautiful death.
I've listened to Shiro Sagisu since I was a kid on all the bleach soundtracks I'm 28 now and this is some of his best work yet ! Glad you got a full version of it. This ost is gonna be amazing I need a release date.

A similar ost was playing when Yama released his Bankai
it's the same one. They used a part of it when he uses his bankai and they use the full version in this episode
Actually i take that back they use the whole song in episode 6 however it wasn't as emphasized as it was in this episode.

I think it fitted Yamamoto's Bankai more, but this is also a good scene for it.

Sagisu has once again graced us with a new theme
This ost is wonderful.
Calm part is associated with the sad truth that somebody has to die so the strongest will live.
And the dynamic part is the fight itself to discover who is the strongest
The Ost, the Story and the Animation are all insane. May I say best anime adaptation of the last few years ?
Bro Bleach does a lot of things really really well very consistently, but the OST might be the absolute most consistent thing Bleach absolutely nails so consistently

This is my favorite so far from the newer tracks. I just love the combination of the eerie strings at the start building up to the core (violin I think?) You can just imagine swords clashing⚔️. Shiro never misses, I can't wait for these to officially be released
