This is not an official theme song. It's just a fictional theme made out of my love for arknights.

Remember my friends, back on Darknights memoir W was absolutely terrified of Pre-Amnesia Doctor by just being close or from a single glance.
As she should be, because im pretty sure that there is only one Doctor, and every Arknights player is just his different approach to the mission. He (or we) has thousands way to get things done, but in reality he completes every stage with Yato alone

I'm just imagining Doctor as a boss on the enemy side. They spawn as a special enemy ops on the other side of the field, then they start giving commands and completely breaking the standard game flow. Deploying and undeploying enemy units consistently, spawning them near the square you need to defend. Then they use various buffs that completely super charge enemy units in various ways. Like there would be no pattern to doctor, they would do things differently every single time with the skillset they have.
If you try to kill them somehow, an enemy ops would appear and tank the shots or a healer would appear and heal them if they take damage. They would immediately summon a DPS op to attack whoever is hitting them.
And then we helidrop em with Surtr Silverash combo
Oooof that would be interesting, i can´t even imagine a PvP on that line
If we make a cross game with chess(PvP) and tower defense?

If one day there is ever a "last mission" for the main story. Imagine if when you went to select the mission, the automatic clearing option was available from the get-go and you were unable to start the mission without selecting it, so you select it. When you enter the team setup screen, you see an operator setup you don't recognize, you press play. This song begins to play as the mission seemingly plays itself, but there is no prompt for you to "take over" it, because there is no automatic system in effect to begin with, the Doctor really is playing, it's just not "your" Doctor, it's "the" Doctor. The mission is played to perfection, no enemies can even get close to their objective, the mission ends in perfect sync with the end of the song, a flawless victory.
I would probably be terrified and intrigued at the same time

It's really just you getting schooled by the person your supposed to be playing

The terrifying thing is: Chess players do not see themselves as a chess piece, not even the King - the most important objective and your main weakness in the game. Chess players only see pieces as pieces, which can be taken, sacrificed,... aka controlled at will. And after every game, the players will just move on, maybe looking back at their mistakes, but that's all. Just like the Doctor - ruthless to both allies and enemies - because to him, everyone is but just pieces in a single game.
He sees the battlefield as a chessboard and himself as the king, the difference about him and the regular king pieces is that he himself doesnt move... he sacrifices, attacks brutally, and creates weak points using the people at his disposal. Unlike the other king's, he is unreachable and wont swap with the rook cause he cant get checked in the first place.

No, it seems you are wrong if you interpret the doctor as a king's pawn, this is the same if he can be played by a chess player, even though the doctor is a chess player himself, Because no matter how high the role in chess is, they are still pieces that can be played, unlike the doctor, he is a chess player, who even sees the king as just a piece.

Don"t get me wrong, I've always loved Arknights. But these character themes are what really bring it to life for me. Another outstanding piece, Lappy, this gives me chills

Dear god... That would be hella hard and epic...
The pre-amnesia doctor would be ruthless, sacrificing opponents and trying to create every opening possible, then send in some random OP unit, and the amnesia doctor would be having to try and place operators around, spawning them at random and keep them alive, pulling them out and placing as fast he can, frantically. I also think a great rule for that battle, an operator is eliminated, you lose them forever. It would display how ruthless and intelligent pre-amnesia doctor is, with no empathy, and willing to sacrifice opponents, whereas amnesia doctor would see the importance in people's lives and do everything he can to make sure to cause the least casualties possible.
Yugi vs Atem fight be like
Their tactical acumen and not-personality-related knowledge are the same. Arguably, the post-amnesia Doc is better due to not having so many mental burdens to carry and get tunnel-visioned by. The Doc got progressively more fucked up over the course of the civil war, so amnesia is a welcome soft-reset.

if there was an event where we see the reunion's side of the grunts and troops fighting...
and we see pre amnesia doctor's intellect and the terrifying tactics he has
and maybe, hopefully, a scene or a PV of W being scared at pre amn- doctor
would be cool, and would be very hard too, since you'll be playing as the reunion, units and characters that are time limited and are complex
besides, it's just a game of chess for him
I would like to imagine that sooner or later the doctor would regain his memories and he would be conflicted in his options of coming to terms with his past and striving forward with new conviction or he would go back to his old ways to finish what he started. (I don't know the full lore of arknights)
In arknights, power of friendship loses very often. And it always hits way worse than expected. (See spoiler below in read more.)

Definitely better than stealing the Angry Birds theme, sadly we already have all 12 CC themes that are ever going to exist, with CC#11 Fake Waves being the last ever CC before the system gets shelved / rebooted.
The Doctor- 6* Commander Supporter (Think a Bard, but trading health regeneration for always-active Inspiration)
Talent 1: Lynchpin- The Doctor has reduced taunt, and if available, 50% of damage taken is passed to an adjacent ally instead.
Talent 2: Masterful Gambit- While The Doctor is deployed, allies who are retreated gain 15% reduced redeployment time, while allies who are defeated grant a random effect(temporary boost to Doctor's Inspiration, temporary debuff to the enemy who defeated the operator, recover dp as if operator had been retreated, etc.)
Skill 1: Exploited Weaknesses SP cost: 40
The Doctor grants a random ally in range (prioritizes units in front of The Doctor) +40% attack, +30 attack speed, and 30% DEF/15 RES ignore for 10 seconds.
Skill 2: Tactical Repositioning SP cost: 60
Grants one 'Reposition Order' which can be attached to an operator and then deployed to move that operator (think the Wirebug from the Monster Hunter collab). Repositioned operator keeps their current health, SP, skill duration, and active effects (character-based buffs/debuffs like Warfarin S2, Saria's talent 1, or corrosion debuff stacks would stay with the operator, but location-based buffs/debuffs like active Originium tiles or Nightingale's RES boost would not)
Skill 3:Coordinated Strike SP cost: 120, can only be used once per battle
Range expands; immediately grants all allies in range 25 SP; allies in range gain Inspiration equal to 150% of ATK; enemies in range have their DEF/RES reduced by 50%
This sounds like something you would see in a montages where the main character is trying to stop the antagonists plan
Now im waiting for the doctor as an support summoner operator with different operators on differant class for all 3 skills

I have clocked 40 hours of H3VR game mode ‘Take and Hold’ playing the new map, Institution while listening to this soundtrack. I love it, really makes me feel like a badass clearing rooms and making my way through the facility. Now whenever I queue up this song, my hands want to start doing the same motions of when I’m playing the game.

It would be interesting to see how the doctor will be as a boss, he wouldn't be physically on the field but has a roster of operators to summon and the unit+the order that he gives them will change according to how you're doing, having high dmg? he'll send in high defend/res units to break through your line......etc......

Well with the lore drop of the recent Babel event in CN server, the doctor really did planned out the entire Victoria Arc and this theme song fits so right. Like the main villain not knowing what he did. Now facing what his past self had done infront of him.
