Last night I started experiencing this rapid switching and it was too much. In the end, with some good communication it was fine, but it was upsetting. Thank you for sharing this.

I know this was three years ago but, I can see how difficult this time was. We are trying to come down from a rapid switch mode that's been going on for... about a week I think? it's been exhausting, everyone hyped up. I tried to record a video to upload like this one, but, my lighting was all wrong, the sound was so warped, it was so unusuable! I really need to set up a better place to record video's. Currently trying to get into Mental Health Respite center to get away from stress and give our family a break, but they are referring us in circles and no one seems to be able to get us into the respite center. Frustrating, but the good news, the Rapid switching seems to be calming down a bit. Just want to get back to "normal" what ever that is for us. Thanks for the video.
I have a random question if you come back to watch your videos where you switch on camera even though you're watching it does your brain erase the memory as soon as you see it? I am not trying to be rude I don't know how to phrase this question for multiple people. Someone in the comments section asked if one of your altars was talking about a different alter and you asked her to write out what was said and I was confused. So if you go back to the video do you not retain certain parts of that memory like if it was something bad that forced the switch, will another alter repeatedly erase it every time you see it? It probably doesn't and you were trying to figure out what part of the video she was talking about but now am wondering if that was true or not... I was watching another youtuber and she mentioned that you should never force someone to switch. She said if you were trying to trigger someone into switching into another person or triggering them to bring up a certain person in your system it could cause whoever you were talking to will lose those memories. So it could basically cause extreme amnesia and distress to to that altar. My question was more about the lost of memories. The other youtuber had mentioned that if someone forced the change and they had a bad reaction one of her protectors would erase her memory to keep her safe. Does that apply to videos as wel?
I usually get fuzzy after the switch and can mostly remember the emotion related to it than what was said. I retain sometimes the memory of it long enough to react to it, but it’s often gone after unless I write it down, or have some kind of recording, like this video. If I watch it back, I am more likely to remember it, like most would, unless Im dissociated when watching it. I didn’t watch the video back after the question was asked because seeing myself in video under a dissociative context is often upsetting to me. That’s why I didn’t know the answer; I didn’t watch it back. If I had known the sentence and context of what Skittle said, I may have been able to answer.
