Honestly, the only reason she has a “fake accent” or whatever you guys think is for the Americans to understand her better. She took speech classes to be more articulate so that when she does work in Hollywood, people aren’t left wondering what is she saying and i think that’s completely fine. She speaks wonderful English based on Indian standards and has studied in the US, so she does have mixed accent which is not all fake. Also she’s a very humble, down to earth celebrity despite making it big in two different industries. I agree she has her flaws, but she’s not pretending, she really just is a very charming individual, in general, even in india. So in short to all the “haters”, she’s not fake or pretending or acting-that’s really who she is.
